RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - Lord Snooty - 12-01-2019 Quote:YELLOW CARD - Schindler Hope he's aware of this. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - theo_luddite - 12-01-2019 Nice to read a piece in The Daily Dither about Durm and his first Christmas in English football. They used a huge photo of Chris Lowe to go with it mind, so 18 months in they still don't know who plays for us. W*nkers. RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - Lord Snooty - 12-01-2019 Quote:Elsewhere... Not bothered about the team in 19th, it's the team in 17th we have to catch. Anyway's....... 2-1 to Burnley now! HT 0-0 Town lead on possession, shots and corners........again! RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - Lord Snooty - 12-01-2019 If there's any doubt that referees are under instructions that Town have to be relegated. The liner just reminding the ref about the rule not allowing us any penalties there. ![]() Well at least the run of defeats is ended. RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - theo_luddite - 12-01-2019 Awful, just awful. The teams and the football wasn't much better either. Burnley win 2-1 and don't register a shot on target. ![]() Once again the blind mice decide the outcome of the game and we are talking about them and not the football. Not that there was any football to talk about. RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - Lord Snooty - 12-01-2019 Well I've seen the incident. Deffo pen. Don't know what the liner has seen to change the ref's mind. On the other hand, the penalty that Warnock wanted should've been given. So swings n roundabouts eh? All round incompetent referencing. ![]() RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - St Charles Owl - 12-01-2019 (12-01-2019, 20:24)Lord Snooty Wrote: Well I've seen the incident. Deffo pen. Just noticed I put referencing. ![]() RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - theo_luddite - 12-01-2019 I wouldn't give any of the incompetent sods a reference Snoots. While the first one was catching a player our defender didn't even know was there, according to Warnock, the second was a tackle they'd have cheered the roof off at The Arms Park. The liner never flagged for anything so how can he say afterwards our lad fouled theirs first? It really beggars belief. That said 2 shit sides that can't kick their way out of a paper bag, we'll play each other next season one division down. RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - sloppyattheback - 12-01-2019 Strange game, we did at least play as offensively as we could with what we have ( which is a championship standard team) thankfully Cardiff were no better and 1 goal would have won it either way. Unless they improve dramatically its us , Fulham and them down the swanny river. Again our key player(s) didnt do enough, Pritchard very poor, Kachunga lively but way too easily eased off posession not strong enough at this level a shadow of the player from our promotion season, Schindy booked for a terrible wrong footed lunge early, poor delivery from corners and crosses, LDP's 94th minute looping header perhaps the only save their keeper made. Puncheon neat and tidy I think he fits in well being so one footed to go with one footed Billing, one footed Hogg, but clearly doesnt have the pace I remember but might still have a shot in his locker to suprise us before the season ends pulling an early one just wide. Mounie meanwhile had a strong game up against their 2 stoppers but never gave up and was even running the channels left side taking on defenders but no shots, no headers to trouble the goal the important stat he's based upon. The pen looked soft but there was contact, but how many soft pens have we seen awarded against us? and I agree with Warnock their chap might have had one with H's clumsy untidy back post challenge early doors, just disappointing to be given one finally, celebrate what that might mean then see it taken away. The home crowd tried to rally them but we held up well to the end. Support ( maybe 1000 noticebaly falling and I expect it to now on the distance games remaining) quiet first half but as we upped the tempo 2nd it improved. Good applause at the end ( from what I saw) for the team and Waggers as they trooped over but i didnt linger too long to see if there was any other reactions. Definately another game we will look back and say with more quality, but quality means having better players, we should have taken the points away. Afterwards, we sat almost 1 hour to get out of the business estate on Halford Rd up to the roundabout gridlocked bit of a pisser. |
