Looking at a small picture on my phone - along with a bad memory and failing eyesight of course - I'd guess at Doug Fraser and Graham Lovett?

Moving on to the game, I'm not one that agrees that these poor footballers must be so tired, playing twice in a week.
They're professional athletes, with the best sports scientists, nutritionists, physios etc. behind them.
IMO it's a mindset. Mollycoddled darlings! Agree
No excuses for me regarding 'they've had more rest than us' or similar. Fekin get on with it!!

Is our owner still here and watching? If so, I fear for BD if we don't perform in this one.
I can see a draw.

Drewks, i agree they are professional athletes etc etc but so are the vile, if I use a mobile phone on Saturday for 90 minutes then put it on to charge and you use a similar phone on Monday for 90 minutes then put it on to charge mine would have more reserve energy than yours ...... if I started to run a bath on saturday and you started running a bath on Monday mine would have more water in it ..... we also have an older squad with longer recovery time ...... Only one result ....

Hiya 4eva
Not sure those are all parallels myself!
The key, IMO, you mention is recovery time, and I still think that well looked after professional players should be fully recovered from 90 minutes of football in 4 days. They're not doing an Ironman!

WAYHAY - we've all got different opinions on these things I guess.

It’s a whale tank for smaller people. You probably won’t fit in one. Whistle
