DA and AC have money, power and the law on their side. We have emotion, love and fairly insignificant spending power.

We could possibly financially damage the club by reducing our spend, but we can't possibly impact upon DA, or therefore his puppet AC.

So the fans' recourse is to stop turning up, which might damage the club and will almost certainly bring our third relegation and ultimate demise even closer.

As I say, it took me a while at the start of the season to acclimatise to the level we`re at at the moment and I think you`re going through the same process right now. If it`s any consolation, the quality of football we`re playing now is somewhat better than it was a couple of months ago – I`m sure Dancing will corroborate.

Having said that, I`m going through exactly the same thought processes as you. I don`t find the football we`re playing at the moment particularly enjoyable to watch and – bearing in mind that it`s a 120-mile round trip for me – I`m also starting to wonder whether I really want to keep on making the effort, not to mention the financial commitment, to come to games.  The point I`m making is that if that if hard-core supporters like us lose faith and turn our backs, then there really is no future for the club. The only way it can survive, let alone prosper, is if we continue to support it.

Otherwise it will die. Is that what any of us really want?

No one want's that to happen SB. We can only hope a fan or one of us win's the Euromillion's and buy's the club.

It's like the fans are between a rock and a hard place.

I reckon all fans of clubs that are going wrong are between a rock and a hard place ........ because they're the ones who love the club and any action they take can damage the club.

Very true. Mind you, there`s ‘going wrong’ and GOING WRONG!!!!

Right now, I think CFC comes under the latter category.

THAT'S THE LATTER CATEGORY

Look's like Dev has upset Bob's Board.

RE: PROTEST PROPOSED - Devongone - 07-12-2018

Well I only called them closet racists.

They spent a year driving Ricky German out of the club, they said Gozie Ugwu was the worst player they'd ever seen ...... they still can't stop harping on about their hatred of SEB and now, because JBW didn't live up to their expectations of being the black Mel Sterland, and they can't chant Bruno at him or find a stereotype with which to be-little him ........ every goal we concede is his fault.

They're people who couldn't actually play the game pretending they can tell people who can, how to do it. They mix in laddish racism, lots of sexism and some often very obvious attempts at sub-schoolboy humour, which clearly leave them guffawing into their half-time pie ...... so I was going to stop going on there, but I've decided to wind them up in memory of Pooch who had no time at all for Bob's.

RE: PROTEST PROPOSED - Dancingwilldoit - 07-12-2018

It doesn't take much to wind them up on Bobs. Just light the blue touch paper and stand well back.

You did a great job of it at least once.

Am getting good at it Dev. Its one of the few guilty pleasures left.
