Villa 5-5 with Forest.

We could have had Dean Smith and had these sort of scorelines. Great entertainment but not good for the blood pressure of the golden oldie brigade. *cough* Talksaft and Bomberbrown1968 *cough cough*

Full time. 2-1 to Albion.

Closed to the gap to the top 2.

"Watching" the Albion match on E&S Twitter is too much for my blood pressure, thanks Josh. Big Grin
Down The Castle now to celebrate!

Not our best performance
Signs are good as the defence looks more solid
Still stand by what I say Gayle speed and finishing up front must mean he starts,
Best striker in the Division on the bench Rolleyes

Sort of agreed Beefy, but at the end of the day its not about individual players, its about the team getting results, which we are. If we were losing with Gayle on the bench I would wholehearted agree with you, but as long as we are getting the results, then I can't really criticise DM's strategy, plus we don't 'really' know if Gayle is fit enough yet for a full game.

In a way hope he is saving him for the Villa game
Because judging by their defence just lately.....
He will destroy em!!

At a guess, I'd say Darren thinks this system as a whole works better with HRK up top, then Gayle coming on fresh to torment tired defenders. Not sure whether he's right, but it's hard to argue with three wins on the trot.

Controlling shareholder Guochuan Lai will attend his first game of the season when West Brom entertain Brentford on Monday night.

The Chinese businessman, who agreed to buy the club from Jeremy Peace for around £175 million in July 2016, is set to fly in from the Far East this weekend.

Lai, who has an 88 per cent stake in West Bromwich Albion Group Limited, will meet head coach Darren Moore and other senior figures.

I had planned to go to this match with a Brentford fan friend. Then it became a Monday Match and we liked that idea.

I then planned to work in Solihull and go to the match. But now have to have calls with the US and so can’t attend.

I will be sat in my study plugged into a video conference call with my iPad playing the match next to the monitor. They (the US guys) are going to see very strange reactions and facial expressions at odd moments during the meeting Laugh
