As expected Canada won the Gold Medal with a 6-2 victory over Spain, some of the winning team apparently less excited than others. Canada opened up an early lead and closed out the game with one end still to play.

In the Bronze Medal game, Norway opened up a 7-4 lead, scoring 3 shots and 1 shot in the 5th and 6th ends. Russia were unfazed by this setback and replied with their own 3 and 1 in the last two ends, winning by 8 shots to 7.
