RE: WBA vs Bristol City & Millwall - 4evaabaggie - 16-09-2018 25th October 1983 ........ by the power of grey skull ...... okay google ... but close enough. Remember it well, didn't go, living in Telford aged 17 ..... at school sixth form ... so no money ..... they wrecked the shrine afterwards, my future brother in law was nearly thrown over the viaduct on the way to the station .... rolfe street, I think. RE: WBA vs Bristol City & Millwall - Beefy 1965 - 17-09-2018 1983 ? Cool I was only one ![]() RE: WBA vs Bristol City & Millwall - Zinman - 17-09-2018 (16-09-2018, 21:54)Beefy 1965 Wrote: I was in the old Woodman corner when we overturned a three goal deficit in the League cup and beat em 5-1 in the return leg, I was in the Woodman for that game too. I remember a bunch of Millwall fans running in when they opened the gates before the end. They ran in and attacked the first person they came to who happened to be a young girl before realizing that they couldn’t get in to the Brummie. Very scary ......... to think that I was that close to Beefy. RE: WBA vs Bristol City & Millwall - Beefy 1965 - 17-09-2018 I was the good looking one to the left of you ![]() RE: WBA vs Bristol City & Millwall - Zinman - 17-09-2018 (17-09-2018, 20:45)Beefy 1965 Wrote: I was the good looking one to the left of you I do recall seeing a rather large person running past me. RE: WBA vs Bristol City & Millwall - Beefy 1965 - 17-09-2018 Nah that wasn't me it would have been a Jog at best ![]() RE: WBA vs Bristol City & Millwall - Blue Baggie - 18-09-2018 I am very interested to see DM selection and tactics for tonight's visit of BC I'm looking for Field to be in the first eleven and Brunt & Barclay out. I accept Harper, Edwards & Leko played in the U23's so they won't be included. I DO NOT want to see Mears or Hoolahan playing instead of Mozza or our youngsters. If DM starts picking old rejects instead of our own youngsters he is not building for the future. RE: WBA vs Bristol City & Millwall - Beefy 1965 - 18-09-2018 Mozza is injured so may not make it, if it is Hoolahan I hope he comes in for Brunt, I thought Harper has been really good when Ive seen him, disappointing when or if he's not included in matchday squads. RE: WBA vs Bristol City & Millwall - 4evaabaggie - 18-09-2018 Mozza did very well in pre season and earned a new contract, did he sprain something when signing it ..... don't get me wrong he has been a legend but is he becoming "biscuit man three ... return of the treatment table." After the original "biscuit man .... the sicknote" (Anichebe) and the sequel "biscuit man two ... the five minute wonder" (Stirling). After being out all last season he needs to be right on it this year, not starting off to promising. I'm not really concerned DM should not have kept him on. Always been an issue with Mozza, he needs half a dozen games to get up to speed, when he is fit. After 10 league games I will count how many appearances our youngsters have made (minus keeper) easy sum (#/100) = % This will be an accurate measure of how Darren is going to (or not) use our youngsters. That's up in 2 more games after tonight's BC game. Like I've said I'm measuring DM on results not his likability factor ![]() |
