RE: Please sack him! - St Charles Owl - 27-09-2018 Pogba and Mourinho are certainly in a battle with each other. Under normal circumstances the manager would and should win in these cases and the club will normally sell the player when they can. But MU are a different beast to start with, Pogba is worth a fortune to them from a marketing perspective, and we are talking millions and millions of Pounds worldwide and that might make him more valuable to the club than the manager. Problem for Pogba is that his performances on the field don't currently warrant the hype nor the position he holds as their star player, so it presents a difficult decision for the club if they cannot get along!! RE: Please sack him! - turkeydinner - 29-09-2018 Pogba might not be setting the EPL on fire but his goals and assists this year you`d dread to think where Man Utd would be without him Another loss, no disrespect to battling West Ham but they were up for it and Man Utd dont seem to want the battle and seem rudderless with neither inspiration or attacking intent Every player must analyze themselves and their performance and commitment but so should the manager and for me that`s leaving the club For me and I doubt many will agree its Frank De Boer as manager with LVG as DOF , FDB was royally screwed at Cry Pal a good manager who understands success, plays excellent football, tactically astute and develops young players RE: Please sack him! - St Charles Owl - 29-09-2018 Can’t see FDB or LVG ending up at Old Trafford any time soon. For me this is setting up nicely for Zidane to make his entry into the Premier League!!! RE: Please sack him! - turkeydinner - 29-09-2018 No nor can I but whoever does come it needs serious thought of what that manager can bring and how they will go about it, I dont want to be talking about a new manager in eighteen months Fair Play to Brendan Rodgers when he took the Liverpool job and gave them a six page essay on what he`d do, I`d certainly like a bit more than " Give me billions of money to spend and I`ll get you the title" That Zidane managed the pressure of one of the biggest clubs in the World and more importantly built and developed young teams and players is Current odds are here for new boss https://www.thesackrace.com/teams/manchester-united Have to say Laurent Blanc not a bad shout for me, Ive other names but probably not big enough for the readers of the tabloids RE: Please sack him! - 0762 - 17-12-2018 After finally watching highlights of United's latest consolidation v Liverpool at Annfield, I concur he has to go and make way for a better, more dynamic type of manager. I think enough is enough and this team is not gonna hit greater heights under his style of management. Ultimately his huge spending budget v what he has actually achieved is damning! Apparently the United board giving him their vote of confidence? Well that could be the "kiss of death" and for many MU fans, absolutely welcome. RE: Please sack him! - Lord Snooty - 17-12-2018 They can't sack him yet. It would be inhuman of them to sack him just before Christmas. Wait until we've played them on Boxing Day. ![]() RE: Please sack him! - 0762 - 18-12-2018 Well my previous thread was well timed and prophetic - Mourinho finally sacked!
