Looks like a very positive step.
Us? Appointing someone with a good track record? Whatever next??

This really sounds as tho we're going to be a bit more ambitious / imaginative regarding the new HC. Let's hope so  Thumb up

Let's all hope this is the start of our title winning season ....... that he stays past his initial six months and pushes us towards the greed league summit and the also ran league ........ hope, it's always the thing that kills ya .......

RE: Nick Hammond - Salopbaggie - 12-04-2018

I am in a way looking forward to next season and some real football, no players on hundreds of thousands a week falling to the ground as the wind brushes past them or rolling around like they have been smacked round the head with a baseball bat, after being clipped on the heel. I bet "The Yak" is looking forward to it as well, the chance to play real football where the whistle is not going to blow just because he has the ball, ok well maybe there is a tiny bit of exaggeration in the last point.

I don’t think he has. There is nothing in either CV to say they have.

I expect the Kluivert link to be just betting and nothing in it. He was a great striker in his day but he wouldn’t be the man to lead us forward.

RE: Nick Hammond - Blue Baggie - 12-04-2018

Patrick Kluivert was DOF for PSG can't see him taking WBA job on?
His son Justin is assumed to be a fair player 18 years of age and already 40 senior games for Ajax.

RE: Nick Hammond - WBA-Josh - 13-04-2018

What if Patrick Kluivert is being considered as replacement for Nick Hammond?

He did it with PSG for a season and would bring fresh ideas. Has Ajax connections so could bring in some of their young players on loan such as Noussair Mazraoui.

I can imagine Patrick Kluivert as DoF bringing in Peter Bosz as Head Coach. The football we’d play would make Mowbray’s football look boring. Thumb up
