Imre, this is the youngest England squad for ages. There are always a few names that we could all throw in the hat or leave out but I am not sure who else he could have picked anyway. Butland will start in goal but he is rightly having a look at Pope as well. No Cahill, Smalling, Jones or Kean in defence and call ups for Mawson and Tarkowski as they are form players. I would maybe have had a look at Lascelles at Newcastle as well. The full backs are probably our strongest part of the team and if he plays 352 they will help midfield.

Midfield is a problem area, Dier and Dele are a given but I can't fathom why Livermore is in there. I would prefer to see Lingard start and leave Henderson as back-up to Dier against weaker opposition.

Up front obviously kane is injured but that Gives Vardy a shot in the central role. I would like to see Sterling and Rashford play either side of him in a front three but that might depend on who we are playing.

Not sure who else aside from injured players he could have picked, there are a lot of young players in there already.

1-0 Lingard. Holland are poor, England have been the better team.

Yes it finished that way. Looking at that Dutch team I can see why they haven't qualified for a couple of tournaments now.

England passed it around well, but we're still average at best.

Holland are a shadow of their former selves, they probably feel the way England supporters have always felt, Laugh

Holland are terrible, couldnt believe how a dutch side could be so poor and lacking in just basic skill. Their league has been deteriorating in quality for a while now though. They failed behind Iceland and the Czech Republic recently. It seems whatever magic Dutch football had, ended about 10 years ago.

England looked very comfortable on the ball, if kane makes the world cup (not sure how badly he is injured) i think you might do rather well.
