Had Adil Rashid been playing in another country he'd have spent more time batting No 6 and bowling first or second change. He spent too much time at No 9 (about as surreal as being Inside No 9) and far too much time trying to catch the captain's eye from the outfield.
For English leg-spinner, read turn to me in an emergency. For leg spinning all rounder, read learn to bat No 3 and forget about bowling outside the nets.
Strange paradox, we don't make leg spinners, but we break plenty.

They picked Chris Schofield when he wasn't even anywhere close to test cricket and set him back Years could say they did the same with Kerrigan never the same after the mauling they gave him
