RE: RIP Cyrille Regis - MattWBA - 15-01-2018 I am truly stunned, he was a real hero of mine both on and off the pitch, heard Ron Atkinson on the radio this morning saying he was the best centre forward he'd ever managed. When he was in his stride there was simply no stopping him strong, fast and skillful. He will be so sadly missed for everything he did and for the lovely bloke he was - I am devastated RE: RIP Cyrille Regis - 4evaabaggie - 15-01-2018 Devastated ...... was heartbroken by the passing of the king ......... although I'm at 51 and not from the Midlands I did not see much of Jeff. ...... but to hear the sad sad news about Cryille was worse for me .... I spent many hours watching that great team of the 70's and now we lose another legend, a true sporting icon, it feels like losing a close family member .... A great striker, gone to be reunited with Laurie, a huge hole in the west Brom family, like most of that Albion squad , to often overlooked for international recognition by their country, a great talent that deserved to be honoured with more silverware. Rest in peace, great man, great servant of the club, great sportsman ......... a legend My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and people who knew him in his journey thorough football. Gone but never forgotten .......... RE: RIP Cyrille Regis - Worldclassalbion - 15-01-2018 Devastated. I feel like sobbing right now. RE: RIP Cyrille Regis - Bierzo Baggie - 15-01-2018 Shed a tear this morning, probably for the first time since my own dad died. RIP Cyrille, my childhood hero and much of why I follow the Albion. RE: RIP Cyrille Regis - betterthanbaird - 15-01-2018 Devastated to hear this, one of the biggest legends at the club, and probably my favourite ever player bar Laurie. He was such an inspiration as well. RIP to a real great RE: RIP Cyrille Regis - Worldclassalbion - 15-01-2018 RE: RIP Cyrille Regis - Kennyg - 15-01-2018 I hope the club plan a tribute of some sort. Nothing on the official website yet. Very disappointing WBA FC! And what on earth has happened to the statue of the "Three Degrees"? I thought that was close to completion? Anyone know anything about this? Truly sorry at his passing, we have lost one of our sons today and the Albion is slightly lesser for it, my thoughts and feelings are with his family and closest friends, I'm sure they'll be a good turnout for him, he thoroughly deserves it. God I feel sad just writing this, rest in peace Cyrille, thank you for being the great man you were and are in our hearts and memories. COYB RE: RIP Cyrille Regis - Beefy 1965 - 15-01-2018 ![]() |
