RE: Season`s Greetings - Stairs - 26-12-2017 Hope you all enjoyed Xmas - Boxing Day might be less fun for some of us (Everton!). And a very Happy New Year. I hope the transfer window bring you lots of goodies! RE: Season`s Greetings - Baggiebob(BBB) - 26-12-2017 Well fellow Baggies, it's almost time to put a completely Un-rememberable (Re -memberable?) 2017 behind us, after Everton (0-1) that is, and get down to the business of having a good transfer market and move up the table to 8th. OR IT THAT ME DREAMING? HAPPY EVERYTHING FOLKS RE: Season`s Greetings - talkSAFT - 26-12-2017 (25-12-2017, 22:51)Amelia Chaffinch Wrote: Merry Christmas, Baggies.I don't think we've got many friends left follwing the Pulis era so, Thanks Amy! Here's hoping for a great 2018 for both our Clubs. ![]() RE: Season`s Greetings - Amelia Chaffinch - 26-12-2017 Rooting for ya RE: Season`s Greetings - Devongone - 26-12-2017 In a world in which from politics to sport hatred is fast becoming the defining principle, Baggies fans perhaps should reflect on the fact that outside their local rivals they are a club which attracts little animosity and not a little genuine affection across the game. I'm not a Baggie and never will be, but I like the Baggies being in the Premier League and I like them to be themselves. Their style isn't the accepted route to success, and it's unlikely they'll ever be able to buy the top prizes either, but a proper West Brom' team goes out with hope in its heart and its eyes on the opposition goal. I hope 2018 sees Baggies loving their team again as it climbs the table. (But ironically a Palace under Hodgson and Pulis at Swansea would provide two rivals you'd do well to stay above.) RE: Season`s Greetings - Amelia Chaffinch - 26-12-2017 Pulis has gone to Boro, Devon. RE: Season`s Greetings - Devongone - 27-12-2017 Yeah Amelia, I read that about ten minutes after I posted, but I thought Swansea with a Pulis lookalike going for wins on the break and 0-0 draws would also be a danger to the Baggies so I'd leave it ........ and then the Baggies go out and have a dull wrestle with Sam Allardyce ........ that's not my idea of WBA ........ that's got Cyrille up front. That "dull wrestle" was our best, most adventurous for nearly a Year! ![]() |
