Excellent to get additional fans in; always thought there should be more on the old board, but hadn't realised they couldn't register.

Yes, great to have a new name amongst us. And let there be more. But for gods sake, lets hope it doesn't become too foul mouthed and confrontational like one of the other forums, otherwise I would certainly retire for sure. Probably wouldn't be missed. Thumb up

That's the best thing about our site, JASOG. Some of the other forums quite frankly are disgusting.

It won't, jasog, this is the same idea, just better administrators.

Thumb up

(Had to make this post longer than just  Thumb up  as it says the message was too short, so...........)

Thumb up  Thumb up  Thumb up  Thumb up  Thumb up   Smile

Yes, Lord Snooty, followed on 606 and then New 606 and decided to sign in to this one. It's great the way you guys have kept civilised, informative and amusing debate about HTFC going over the years. Vital and engaging service as far as I'm concerned, especially as over the years my links with the West Riding [Cleckheaton and Wakefield] have literally passed away..
Can't contribute much myself being up here- nearest club is Ross County- but I'll try and do my bit. Intro and Outro!

I've no problem with the CaleyJags myself. The story of the merger between Thistle and Caledonian is like something out of 'Ripping Yarns'. Thank goodness Inverness Clachnacuddin decided they wanted no part of it and decided to stay in the Highland League. Incidentally, the great Duncan Shearer [master of the Universe] is still playing a part in local football up here.
Before the merger I was walking past Caley's old ground  with my little daughter and she noticed the next fixture notice,"Caledonian V Keith." She said, "That's not fair!" I told her he must be very good.

Highand mate, do you post on DATM as well? There are a couple of Highland based Town fans on there that make it down occasionally, think one of them lives in Thurso and one round by you, are you on of them?

I posted once on DATM but realised straight away it was a bear pit, Art. I thought there were a few fans up here but have no contacts.

Shep's in Glasgow and Ritchie's in the Borders. You should share a taxi down to Hudders. Big Grin
