RE: Lets help the board. - aries22 - 10-11-2017 West Ham’s move to the London Stadium has been as lucky a charm as Spurs’ move to Wembley. Neither ground seems fitted for league football, and Slaven Bilic at West Ham has been on the receiving end of whatever gremlins their move has awakened. I would take him, he was a decent footballer back in the day and he would surely recognise the quality in our squad and how to utilise it in a more attacking way than Pulis ever will. I agree with Slick that McInnes needs to do a bit more somewhere to demonstrate he can not only get Albion playing better football but also keep us away from struggling in the bottom six. The PL is a million miles away from the SPL. I don’t think Koeman would come, and from the noises Allardyce is making, I think he fancies the Everton job. I just thank God that Moyes is fixed up now. RE: Lets help the board. - Sir Megson - 10-11-2017 I think criticism of Koeman at Everton is quite harsh as he didn't get a proper chance to try and turn things around. He's done a good job elsewhere and I'm beginning to think he'd be open to take the job here as a means to help rebuild his reputation. Whoever we do bring in though, it needs to be before January to give them the chance to tweak the squad to their choosing, and I'd bring Leko back from his loan spell too. Ralf Rangnick is Sporting Director at RB Leipzig and has been since 2012. Paulo Sousa is back in work now in China so that option can be ruled out. He was my initial first choice until he was heavily linked to the Milan job. RE: Lets help the board. - Bournemouth Baggie - 10-11-2017 Seems to me that if we get someone in who can have the squad playing in the right positions and to the best of their ability then there will be no need to have anyone good in a relegation battle. As well as Leko, I'd like to see us bring back Tyler Roberts, let's face it our current strikers are ineffective, so let's give Roberts some game time RE: Lets help the board. - Beefy 1965 - 11-11-2017 (10-11-2017, 10:28)WBA-Josh Wrote:(10-11-2017, 01:08)Beefy 1965 Wrote: Excuse the spelling josh is Ralf Rangnick still available ? So still approachable then ![]() So what do we do now On twitter a lot of supporters praising Goodman & Garlick and said things have to change soon and he understood our frustrations Mmmm ? Lai is flying in earlier than anticipated for the Chelsea game, Do we get behind the team now from the off and increase our chances of an upset, Or let Lai & co know from the off what we think of TP and increase the chances of another inept performance and getting rid of the Dinosaur ![]() Below, E & S report of discussion about Pulis at last night's assembly meeting: https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/west-bromwich-albion/2017/11/10/west-brom-board-front-up-and-field-questions-on-tony-pulis-at-heated-fans-meeting/ RE: Lets help the board. - wba1978 - 11-11-2017 Great article on BBC site about Graham Potter and his remarkable rise with Ostersunds. Absolutely incredible really. Sounds like he really loves it.... its an amazing story. Might not want to leave, and not much top flight experience, but hey, I'd take him over Pulis any day of the week! http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/41902664 RE: Lets help the board. - BaggieSteve - 11-11-2017 (11-11-2017, 04:06)wba1978 Wrote: Great article on BBC site about Graham Potter and his remarkable rise with Ostersunds. Gee wizz, that's some story! Heartwarming. Makes you realise (or it reminds you) how wrong top class football has become in the UK, how much it has lost it's soul. Sounds a great bloke, Graham Potter - he'd be crazy to give that up to come here & play Russian Roulette. RE: Lets help the board. - 4evaabaggie - 11-11-2017 Wow, a fantastic football story, the people's game played by and for the people, how long before some money man comes in and louses it all up with modern football aka chelski, manc city, man ure, real Madrid etc etc |
