RE: Huddersfield Town v West Bromwich Albion - Amelia Chaffinch - 31-10-2017 I read all about them on new606.... One of ska'd great articles. It was significant enough to lodge in my brain. It was the first thing I decided to put in my thread. Cyrille my hero during 55 years of watching the Baggies, no-one better, including Jeff ![]() RE: Huddersfield Town v West Bromwich Albion - Amelia Chaffinch - 01-11-2017 We've got Wagner chained up at Canalside (our training facility). We only let him out for matches. He's not going anywhere. ![]() RE: Huddersfield Town v West Bromwich Albion - Lord Snooty - 01-11-2017 We once tried to sign Tony Pulis when he played for Bournemouth. he turned us down. I've never liked him since. Not sure but I think we ended up signing Peter Jackson instead. RE: Huddersfield Town v West Bromwich Albion - silverbaggie - 01-11-2017 Well there's a great read Chaff. I think even old Ska'd would be proud of that one but, I expect he's busy writing a sequel to 'Brummie Road' Also a great read even if you Terriers have trouble with the dialect. Innit As we would say in our part of the world......Bostin! but you cor ave them three points. As likely as coppin old of the sight at Lower Gornal where they'm put the pigs on the walls to watch the Bands goo by. ![]() RE: Huddersfield Town v West Bromwich Albion - talkSAFT - 01-11-2017 Bostin' read, Amy. Step aside, Walsall - Terriers are my no.2 Club now. ![]() ![]() RE: Huddersfield Town v West Bromwich Albion - WakeyTerrier - 01-11-2017 Ow do Baggies! Welcome to the Terriers board, hope you've all managed to snaffle tickets for the fixture this weekend and enjoy the trip up to West Yorkshire on Saturday. Played for Both- Delroy Facey,Kevin Donavan,Joe Murphy,Big Sam,Lee Ashcroft to name a few. RE: Huddersfield Town v West Bromwich Albion - drewks - 01-11-2017 Fantastic review Ams! Personally I love to see new, 'different clubs coming up and ruffling feathers......and, as you say, I'd aactually like you to ruffle ours on Saturday if it helps dislodge Mr Pulis. Did a fine job for us up till 9 months ago but his limitations and stubborness (doesn't look right) are now so obvious. Cmon you Terriers! He wasn't ever truly appreciated by the public, and still isn't. His grace, speed, skill and charisma were unbelievable! RE: Huddersfield Town v West Bromwich Albion - Lord Snooty - 01-11-2017 Laurie Cunningham was good....but not as good as their Richie.....eeeeeeeyyy! ![]() ![]() The Examiner are trying to kick up a bit of anti Irish feelings by posting a story about McClean and his decision not to wear a poppy. Last year we had the controversy with FIFA not allowing England to wear poppies because it was a political symbol. The argument being given back that it was all down to remembrance and not political. So stop bleedin stirring it up, you click bait arse wipes. It's all about freedom of choice, something that our heroes fought and died for. RE: Huddersfield Town v West Bromwich Albion - WakeyTerrier - 01-11-2017 He chooses not to wear the poppy and it decision, he'll stand there and respectfully observe the minutes silence...no problem with that. Bloody newspapers just using it as click bait. Incedently the FA have written to UEFA/FIFA asking for permission on wearing the Poppy for the upcoming game against Germany(Fri 11th Nov) at Wembley, hopefully they will see sense and allow this to happen without all the crap they came out with last year |
