John Gregory after losing 5-0 when he managed QPR
Sure Hughton got sacked after losing to WBA as Newcastle manager as well ?

Correct, Beefy. Hughton was sacked after Albion beat Newcastle 3-1 (I think) in December 2010.

I was just scrolling to see if anyone had remembered that obvious one, the best of the lot. Wo1ve5 1 Albion 5.

OK Updated - taken out SAF (only fair) and added MM, JG and CH

Should be re-titled "Curse of the Albion" - Bilic next courtesy of the little Albion of Brighton.

Think the writing is on the wall for Bilic now. 3-0 at the minute and West Ham have been absolutely dreadful.

This would be strange as Hughton is Brighton manager and mentioned on the list above twice!!
weird Hat Trick or what ??? Big Grin

Funny old game!

If the inevitable happens and Bilic is picking up his P45 in the morning, that'd make it 1 sacking a piece for us and Brighton. Just how many more managers will fall to the Albion curse this season?

According to the general opinion this has been the recent casualty list - but feel free to add to this.
  • John Gregory, West Brom 5-1 QPR, September 30 2007
  • Chris Hughton, West Brom 3-1 Newcastle, December 2010
  • Mick McCarthy, Wolves 1-5 West Brom, February 2012
  • Andre Villas-Boas, West Brom 1-0 Chelsea, March 3 2012
  • Roberto Di Matteo, West Brom 2-1 Chelsea, November 17 2012
  • Roberto Mancini, Manchester City 1-0 West Brom, May 7 2013
  • Paolo Di Canio, West Brom 3-0 Sunderland, September 21 2013
  • Chris Hughton, Norwich 0-1 West Brom, April 2014
  • Craig Shakespear Leicester 1-1 West Brom, October 16 2017
Poor old Hughton must hate us.  Whistle
And Di Matteo was sacked by us as well.
