RE: Dundee v Hibs, Sun 27 August, KO 12.30pm - hibeejim21 - 27-08-2017 I thought barker played very well, quick and can go past players with ease. It was a bad miss but he's young and here to develop. It's a shame commons isn't fit enough to come. I think he could help us out. 750k bid for mcginn.....lennon saying its nowhere near our valuation..... But that "every player has his price". I think its unlikely we will sell mcginn this season unless we get big money. RE: Dundee v Hibs, Sun 27 August, KO 12.30pm - hfcbounce - 27-08-2017 Agree with all your comments guys we totally dominated dundee today. Whittaker never needed to challenge the guy as Hanlon was behind him. But could not understand the change we made Simon Murray off Fraser Murray on surely big Dave should have come on he's a monster their two young defenders would have crap them selves if he had been brought on Lennon said he's tracked him for two years but never had a break yet GGTTH RE: Dundee v Hibs, Sun 27 August, KO 12.30pm - 0762 - 27-08-2017 Looking at the pk 'incident' again on bbc Sportscene and proved beyond all doubt that Deacon 'dived' and no contact either!!!! SFA ref scrutiny panel to deal with that 'con' please!! It suddenly 'dawned on me' that this referee, Don Robertson, is the same guy who gave that awful 'no contact/dive pk' for Ross County last season v Celtic as well as officiating one of the worst last 20 mins, from a refereeing point of view, when Hibs played at Tannadice last season - we won the match but he was bloody awful!! ![]() RE: Dundee v Hibs, Sun 27 August, KO 12.30pm - hibeejim21 - 27-08-2017 aye, just saw that. The boy was going down but whittaker was naive. He grew into the game at LB,but i still think he is better used a bit further up the park. RE: Dundee v Hibs, Sun 27 August, KO 12.30pm - ritchiebaby - 27-08-2017 These are the games we need to win if we are to get in the Top 6. Sounds we were totally dominant, but couldn't quite get the job done. RE: Dundee v Hibs, Sun 27 August, KO 12.30pm - hibeejim21 - 28-08-2017 9 times out of 10 that level of performance gets you a win ritchie. I'm much happier with us than i was last weekend. RE: Dundee v Hibs, Sun 27 August, KO 12.30pm - 0762 - 28-08-2017 The one 'saving grace' for me is the fact Dundee didn't undeservedly 'nick the match' in the dying mins and then being subjected to the post match media summary of how Hibs 'shot themselves in the foot' again! Scottish footie is riddled with these kinda matches where certain overwhelmed footie teams somehow occasionally 'nick the match' - proves the importance of having as many prolific strikers as poss! IMO the worst example of this type of one-sided match was Hibs Scottish Cup semi-final v Falkirk in 2015 and listening to Houston's attempted justification of being deserved winners as well as trying to dismiss Alan Stubbs rightful rueful summary of such a one-sided match with few shots on Hibs goal - delighted when Yogi's ICT beat the Bairns in the final with ten players although the highland jags' presence in that final was highly questionable as well after that Meekings no red card/no pk/no spotted arm baw on the goal line fiasco v Celtic in their semi-final. RE: Dundee v Hibs, Sun 27 August, KO 12.30pm - hibeejim21 - 29-08-2017 I think that was behind the move to take off murray,at that stage of the game you want to try and win but away from home you also want to make sure you get at least the point. 7/12 points is not too bad a start. |
