RE: Membership - Salopbaggie - 13-07-2017 Just to rub it in even more, yesterday Wednesday 12th, the club has announced it is decreasing the price of Cat A games and increasing the cost of Cat B games. Category A prices for matches against the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United are being reduced from £39 to £35 for adults. Category B games are going to be £30 (a further increase of £5.00) from £25 last season. Adult ticket prices for Category C games remain at £25 Has no one at the club ever heard of supply and demand, you do not reduce the price of something which is selling out at its current price and increase the price of something which is not selling out already. There is a £1 differential in the clubs favour between the £4 reduction in A and a £5 increase on B, but the club would have to sell out most Cat B games just to break even. I really can not understand the logic in this, if the club want to get more supporters to the "lesser" games. So in a nutshell the club want to charge me £40 a season more (if I can only get to 4 Cat B games) and I do not know yet how much the prices at the concession stands and programmes are going up. |
