Poor performance from the senior team and lucky to get away with a draw. Sure Ben would have saved at least one of those free kicks albeit they were well struck.

Great performance by the cricket boys - it's always nice to whup the Aussies. Saying that, my daughter-in-law is one!

RE: Congratulations England U20 - Arcane Astral Aeons - 11-06-2017

well done the under 20`s for winning the world cup
and here is a thought
i`m sure that must be a record for a single side having so many players with double barreled surnames
and i did spot several (not english) fans in crowd wearing Baggies shirts
and that WBA flag behind the goal was great to see

It's coming home, it's coming home, football's coming home.

51 years of hurt.................. over!

Hopefully our young generation can build on this, hope for the future.

Albion becoming a global brand???????

Here's to a healthy future ..... sotv, feel sorry for blues, who are the dingles.

Can't believe how little interest there has been about this, we have won a world cup in football for heaven's sake, sorry baggievicar, yes we did it the easy way, beating Argentina 3 - 0, Mexico 1 -0 in the quarter final, coming from one down to beat Italy 3 - 1 in the semi final before beating Venezuela 1 - 0 in the final, saving a penalty to boot.
The other group games were Guiena 1 - 1, hosts South Korea won 1 - 0. Last 16 match Costa Rica 2 - 1.

Six wins one draw against big footballing nations and WE WON THE U20 WORLD CUP.

ITS COMING HOME ...... our first U20 World cup our first major trophy for 51 years ....... let's make some noise.

RE: Congratulations England U20 - silverbaggie - 11-06-2017

As some of you may have found out the BBC at the eleventh hour decided to screen it on BBC2. Perhaps someone in their hierarchy read some of the criticisms on here.

Nevertheless, the BBC, in it's infinite wisdom then decided that they couldn't possibly stay around for the presentation ceremony and switched that to the red button.
Obviously deciding that the women's triathlon taking place in Leeds was much more important.
FFS that competition goes on for hours.
Surely they could have missed the first 20 minutes or so to broadcast the achievement of our young lads.

With a bit of luck, by the time one of our football teams wins another World Cup in say another 50 years, the BBC will no longer be  funded from the public purse.

Angry Angry Angry
