Pooch, how have these players improved under GC? They won twice in fourteen games. The only player who seems to have improved is SEB and everyone but you can see why. (Personally I'd sooner see Roger Wylde get a playing contract for us next season than SEB.) GC should have played Maguire instead of sending him on loan (and so should DW) and he should have looked at our youngsters as players instead of bringing in random baby strangers from bigger clubs and putting team spirit in jeopardy - two reasons for only winning twice and being relegated for Easter.
Matt, a young keeper improves by playing games. Dylan Parkin surely has to play in the reserves next season (if Tommy etc)? (If Tommy etc ....) what does a third keeper DO, go on loan at Clay Cross MW and we snatch him back if needed?
Personally I'd give Stuckmann Matt Duke's job as he's young enough also to play, it would cover all eventualities and goalkeeping coach is a sinecure anyway. I feel sorry for Allinson - he's had a shit deal.
St Charles's guesses look on the money to me. Southend are always in financial bother, as are Oldham and if we are not the fourth club it is only due to the financial illusion created by our beloved DA.
I hope Branno or Guy the Gorilla is getting round the non-leagues. I also hope he has the brains to search on the net. Lads who are coming through get mentions in local papers, on social media etc. They're only unknowns outside their home area, someone always thinks they are a bit special and is saying so .........
Dancing, I can understand your doubts about Gardner. He does suffer from O'Sheaism. BUT he didn't get kicked off the park at Halifax and the tackling at that level is no different from League 2. And can we find better?

Yeah a 3rd keeper would go on loan to get some experience and if we needed him we would recall them. Matt Duke is already player-coach. Yeah I feel sorry for Allinson as well because I reckon he could become a future Chesterfield No 1 if we keep on to him.
As for the three L1 clubs I think they are Coventry, Bury and possibly Charlton. I think the L2 club is Orient or Morecambe. There probably is more than 4 clubs at risk of going under.

I agree with all you say Matt except I want to dump Matt Duke. You couldn't play him in the first team now, you could play Stuckmann as he's proved. We could send Dylan out on loan ....... but he'd learn more alongside Tommy. BUT what's happening with Tommy is almost as big a question as what's going on with DA. Till we can answer both those questions I'll worry about our future. By contrast GC seems readily replaceable.
