RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (21 March) - talkSAFT - 22-03-2017 (22-03-2017, 13:52)Stairs Wrote: Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain (Arsenal) they say we are favourites to take him this summer! I'd like to know who they are. He's top quality, but I can't believe he'd want to join us above 3 or 4 other Clubs, like West Ham and Liverpool, who would outpay us salary-wise for certain. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (21 March) - WBA-Josh - 23-03-2017 Jonas Olsson has now departed to join Swedish team Djurgården - http://mobile.wba.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/west-brom-albion-jonas-olsson-djurgarden-if-premier-league-3639453.aspx Tony Pulis has his say on Olsson - http://mobile.wba.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/west-brom-albion-wba-jonas-olsson-tony-pulis-premier-league-3639419.aspx RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (21 March) - Baggievicar - 23-03-2017 Bit of a shock - fair play to the club for letting him go early. The least he deserves after all he's done here. I hope he gets a proper send-off at some stage. It would have been nice, but he has already gone in order that he can start the Swedish season in 10 days time ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (21 March) - Ska'dForLife-WBA - 23-03-2017 His time was very much up unfortunately, but I'm glad to see he intends to show his face again at some point in the future. It would have been a shame for him to leave without some sort of acknowledgement of the part he's played in our evolution as a club these last nine years. Good luck in Sweden, Jonas, and thanks for everything. Now that he's off, what will we be doing for defensive cover for the next couple of months? Will it be a case of shuffling the pack if Evans or McAuley get injured: shifting Dawson into the centre, Nyom to the right and Brunt to the left? God help us if we get two out at the back! Completely forgot about him, to be honest! RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (21 March) - aries22 - 24-03-2017 This is tremendous work on your part, Stairs - congrats and well done, keep up up the good work.
