The loan system is a joke.we now have a situation where a lot of lower league teams have nearly half the team made up of players owned by other clubs .
Meanwhile the likes of Chelsea have up to 80 players on their books .how can this be right ?

Dont know Blue but we have more than enough. The only reason we are signing loanees is because of the clamour by fans to retain Lge1 status. We should be developing and bringing through our own youngsters. If it means a step down then so be it. The longer term benefits would be so much better than bringing in other teams not good enoughs.

Carson hardly posts on bobs board its like jumping into a shark infested pool
I think he posts on the Facebook page as it is much more tranquil.
Seems its a young free agent .

The swap we've made is to replace Liddle, O'Shea, Ariyibi and O'Neil who between them have made 910 senior appearances with four "unknowns" who between them have played in senior football 52 times. Unless today's putative young free agent turns out to be Ravel Morrison the prospect on paper doesn't look exciting, or potentially successful.

Reece Brown disappointingly made his Birmingham appearances before Gary Rowett and wasn't a big hit on loan at Notts County. Osman Kakay's games at Livingston would be useful experience for a very young defender; so the only worries about him are youth and QPR hardly being the home of defensive excellence. Faupala physically looks like a player, but 3 games at Breda in itself doesn't translate to a Division One relegation battle. Though he's the oldest and ought to be making his way with his own club, Liam Grimshaw has the most promising background to me with the Man Utd youth set-up in which he received a lot of praise, some Scottish experience, a few games for Preston PLUS the fact that Preston actually paid a fee for him. Now obviously they're not giving us Daniel Johnson but youth international caps suggest there's something to come.

I think we're going to have to remember we've dug a huge hole in our team's experience and replaced it with what might turn out to be a thin layer of veneer.

Overall the situation is ludicrous - we've three players out on loan and six players in (I think). If we beat Oldham, who exactly has beaten them, us or a ridiculous set of rules? And if these young players we've signed do their best like Fulton and Anderson, but it isn't quite enough to get us the wins we need, to my mind Dancing is absolutely right, we'd be better off blooding our own youngsters. I know league football is a lot to ask of them so young, but the alternative might be them never getting that chance and when all their hopes and aspirations have turned to curzon ashton or hucknall they'll be looking back and wondering if only I'd had that chance in 2017, our relegation season. Maybe I could have been Jamie Vardy.

Just read we signed Sadiq El Fitouri. He sounds like a decent gamble. Apparently he likes to tackle. We've never had a Libyan international before, away games in America could be a problem. Otherwise don't forget your shinpads, Tope and Banksy.

Oh the names have such glamour ........ except Reece Brown really and Mr Grimshaw who sounds like he should have been the bloke who used to cane The Archbishop of Canterbury.
