RE: Town v Ipswich 21-Jan-2017 - SHEP_HTAFC - 20-01-2017 Fantastic thread theo ![]() I think we will win this match easily. They will no doubt get a goal from a set piece, but I can see us scoring at least 3. We have a tough set of fixtures in Feb....(L666s, Brighton, Reading, Derby) so lets pick up some points in Jan first. RE: Town v Ipswich 21-Jan-2017 - theo_luddite - 20-01-2017 For Ipswich - defender Adam Webster set to be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to an ankle injury and their Tommy Smith will miss the match due to a back injury. RE: Town v Ipswich 21-Jan-2017 - theo_luddite - 20-01-2017 Town have a flash sale of tickets for a Fiver if you fancy freezing your wotsits off in the Lower Fantastic Media Stand. Online only, print your ticket at home. RE: Town v Ipswich 21-Jan-2017 - theo_luddite - 20-01-2017 Wendies blew up big time in the last 10 mins at Brighton tonight. Shame because both of them losing points was good for all of us but Wendies losing them all is still better for us. ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Town v Ipswich 21-Jan-2017 - Lord Snooty - 21-01-2017 Yeah, that Ker-nockart is some player. Better than that ker-nobhead Forestieri. ![]() RE: Town v Ipswich 21-Jan-2017 - Lord Snooty - 21-01-2017 Well another fantastic performance. Could and should have been many, many more. But 2-0 is good enough. Biggest win of the season. ![]() ![]() RE: Town v Ipswich 21-Jan-2017 - Lord Snooty - 21-01-2017 Leeds have lost. We are third. Odd quirk of the fixture list now. Leeds play two matches and Reading play three before we next have a league match, against Brighton. RE: Town v Ipswich 21-Jan-2017 - theo_luddite - 21-01-2017 Normal service resumed after Town do what it takes to beat Mick's dour lot. Grinding out the first half and some good flowing football in the second. Löwe's dummy when he fell over to fool the Ipswich fella before passing to Brown was classic. Brown's turn, charge at the defence and finish was top notch. On top of that who needs a new centre forward when Schindler keeps adding goals against Ipswich to his list. Then when all that was over, the noisy neighbours implode either side of half time down Barnsalee way and we take over 3rd spot. That will send me home happy. Hogg and Billing paired up well in midfield, Wells ran his socks off again, Kachunga could have had a hat trick and The Heff doing an impersonation of Flipper near the end shows why he is not centre forward material. Pretty solid at the back, nice to nil another team for a change. ![]() RE: Town v Ipswich 21-Jan-2017 - Lord Snooty - 21-01-2017 And we did it without Mooy. What a fantastic squad of players we have. RE: Town v Ipswich 21-Jan-2017 - theo_luddite - 21-01-2017 Mooy? Who's he? ![]() |
