Phew!

Thoroughly deserved the win the 3 points crucial and a decent performance from just about everyone.

We started brightly a superb ball to Smith from Kachunga, Smudger drives into the box and cuts it back for the moving Kach to nod home.

Usual soft equalisers, arms up for offside but just seen it on tv and Schindy looks to have come out that bit too slow to keep their centre half on side and square it for a tap in. I can take that, they were superb in April and last season at home with set pieces and aerial height.

Desperate for a killer strike, a bit of luck ran our way with a heavy back pass and Wells full credit for the chase took it off the goalies laces, he seemed to come to life after that, can only be a good thing with a tough week on the road ahead.

5 mins added time seemed forever but we worked tremendously hard anything but would have been a travesty.

Very interesting sky pundits Pruttton & Keith Andrews reckon their goaly should have been straight red for handling outside the box, last man when Wells challenged him , was down the other end from the moaning section so had all these sunday refs quoting the regs whilst it all went on.

It wasn't their centre half who was offside but the scorer Abraham's. At least a yard offside.
As for the keeper, straight red, no question. Lucky he stayed on though. Laugh He did make s brilliant save off Mooy later on though.

Seen a good description of the ref on Twitter afterwards. He's a cockwombling spunktrumpet. Laugh

Anyway, good win and looks like we're getting main match status on C5 tonight.

Hate to pour water on it Snoots, but their goal looks legitimate. Wilbrahams was played on by Smith, and the young lad that scored was behind the ball when it was passed to him. So onside in both cases. You're right re their keeper though. How is a deliberate handball outside the box when being last man, a yellow card. Can't be! But then, he did repay this oversight later on though thankfully. Thumb up

We got what we deserved today. We outplayed them all over, could and should have had more but 3 points are 3 points all count.

yes we conceeded a soft goal yet again and it needs addressing but it was a solid performance against what was a big sideand their football matched it

RE: Huddersfield Town v Bristol City - Lord Snooty - 11-12-2016

Go on then, Jasog. I'll give you that one. Just onside.

RE: Huddersfield Town 2-1 Bristol City - jjamez - 11-12-2016

That was more like we were used to earlier in the season. We passed the ball with a lot more purpose and we shifted between the gears on the passing, although at some points it did go too slow, but that shift in gears helps pick teams apart, look at the first goal. Its a good sign when we do that.

Cant help but feel that the hammering at fulham dented confidence big time and the games inbetween we had a bit of a crisis in that we stopped either thinking or truly believing in our own game. That draw against Blackburn may have proven to be a bit of a catalyst in that we well a truly dominated and began to back ourselves. Hopefully it continues to tuesday and on wards!
