Yep, agreed. But you'll have noticed how many terrific Keats free kicks and corners down the months have never been converted into goals by our forwards - some of the missed goal opps about 1-2 metres from the opposition goal line have been horrendous!

Has to be in a decent area to have a chance ........the number of these types of situations where the ball has been cleared by the first defender I have lost count in recent games.

When it happens all I hear in my head is............" first defender Tester"......

This all stems from when watching Hereford United in the 80's where all the dead balls seemed to be taken by Paul Tester and not many got by the first defender, just like Hibs at present. There was an old guy I stood by who  shouted as he was about to take the dead ball,  ..... first defender Tester, and 90% of the time he obliged. Used to crack everyone up in the vicinity......till frustration set in. Confused

Let's just sell Jason for 1.5 million and buy Leigh Griffiths ...... simples problem solved

On the same subject, that raises the question, 'Why was Stevenson taking free kicks on Friday night'? This is something I forgot to mention but is certainly relevant. I'm older now but I'd still tout myself to hit a better free kick (or cross ball!) than Stevo!!

I'd already mentioned earlier in the thread I wasn't going to get on to LS.

Great squad player to have around.....yes,   a club legend......yes , a fulltime left back especially when used as a wing back......NO.  Couldn't cross a bridge......now look what you have done Bounce,             I must stop......
