I think people are still away on international duty. Hopefully they'll come back

RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - WakeyTerrier - 17-11-2016

I'm Back from a hard week of watching international football, overpriced flat beer, people who talk with forked tongue.....and that's just the Londoners, never mind them who wore skirts last Friday.

More club connection...Martyn Margetson,Danny Drinkwater and Andy Dibble.

Word of warning to anyone going...Wales v Japan at the Millenium Stadium KO 14:30. Traffic likely to be a nightmare in and out of Cardiff, trains not so bad going in as we're on from places outside Wales first but afterwards expect queues outside the station and worst of all no supping near Citys ground so all drinking to be done in the City centre....that'll be several drinks purchased in one visit then. Thank god I decided to give this one a wide body swerve.

As per most away days, I'll take a point now. Yes CCFC are struggling but the bigger picture for me is continuing to put points on the board. As much as d like promotion I'm realistic to our chances so for me it's getting to 50points first, assuring safety and then readjusting the target at that point.

Team- Only Wagner knows that and we all know trying to second guess it and getting it right is like trying to get every answer correct on University Challenge...never going to happen in my case.

Prediction- 1-1 Kachunga (probably Pilks for them)

A must win game. As are the ones after, Wigan and Blackburn. But I'll settle for a point.  Whistle

Good read Amchaff. I know they say post early for Christmas but it's stiil November and to be honest, we are all still wondering whether Rooney's knee injury was really a hang-over or caused by him tripping over the bar on his way to bed. Rushing to get your thread out won't get some of us replying ages afore the match hits our horizons.

Anyway - this is what the Taffy online press have to say about Emyr Huws and Wagbo

Town fans going by a train that comes anywhere near my corner of Muddled England could also find themselves on a replacement bus service for a long part of the journey.

RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - sloppyattheback - 17-11-2016

I'm going, need my footy fix, I didnt consider my trip to smoke central to see our over paid prima donnas v men in skirts last Friday a proper game - god awful for most parts how we won 3 nil I'll never know.

I'd take a point now, expecting a rejuvinated druid outfit with Warnock in charge, on paper they have a very decent squad, expecting traffic issues in and out so will set off from East of Muddle England that bit earlier park somewhere off Sloper Rd and decline the £8 to park in the away fans segregated car park I've just read about.

Who plays - god knows what Herr Wagner is thinking this week. Perhaps he's still in Spain with his towel .

RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - SHEP_HTAFC - 18-11-2016

Not really sure what to make of this game......I've said a draw in the prediction game, but we really should be thinking about winning this. They are 19th and their form doesn't look too great at the moment.
Just had a quick look at the Cardiff squad, and they have 35 players. Randomly picked a few other teams and no one comes close to the size of their squad..... Huddersfield(27), Newcastle(27), Brighton(32) and Rotherham(31).

RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - jjamez - 18-11-2016

we've supposedly been trying some new stuff or adding new stuff to our game whilst in spain, be interesting to see what happens there. dw has said that billing is back in with a shout of playing so itll be interesting to see what happens with that, will he move mooy up or go with a midfield 3?

RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - Lord Snooty - 18-11-2016

Or will Mooy even start? Wagz seemed slightly annoyed with the Aussie coach and apparently he didn't have a very good game the other night.

RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - theo_luddite - 18-11-2016

Put him on for the second half after the first half aerial bombardment that Colin no doubt has planned for us. Mooy can't do anything with balls that are flying 50' over his head anyway. Our defense struggles with owt 2' above theirs.
