I think the manager has had enough of Cummings and decided to teach him a lesson. McGregor could well end up with the season's POTY award at this rate - Mr Consistency at the moment and I'd say he's a better player than Scotland's Hanley! Re Cummings' demotion, rumours abound down Leith that Jason has had too many weekend 'benders' and Lenny has had enough of his antics. Also Jason doesn't 'get on' with the manager who certainly has a different style to Stubbsy's 'softly softly' approach to players. I dunno what to believe TBF but I reckon Jason must 'knuckle down' and start fighting for his place again as hopefully Holt and Graham start pushing on from here and bang in goals on a regular basis, which they can definitely achieve at this level. Remember that this ref Muir is the same ref who was involved in that 'diabolical game changing decision' when he denied us that pk (and other unbelievable calls!) at ER in last season's 1st leg play off match v the Bairns!! More importantly a great result to keep that huge Hibs away support happy after all the disappointing events of recent weeks! There must have been about 3k-4K Cabbage fans at the game - what a great turn out to back the guys and the Hibs 'did the biz' to increase our lead at the top of the Championship by 3pts!! ![]() RE: Dunfermline Ath v Hibs, Sat 22 Oct , KO 3.00pm - hibeejim21 - 23-10-2016 If Cummings is being a dick id punt him in January, this season is too important. It was the right call to bench him,he's been contributing less and less in recent weeks. RE: Dunfermline Ath v Hibs, Sat 22 Oct , KO 3.00pm - 0762 - 23-10-2016 Apparently part of the craic down Leith way is that he does indeed wanna leave in January! I'll try to find out more info re this issue when I attend the upcoming AGM - there are normally some good private discussions after the meeting re various topics or queries. RE: Dunfermline Ath v Hibs, Sat 22 Oct , KO 3.00pm - hibeejim21 - 23-10-2016 I've said it before but i reckon lennon doesn't think he does enough for the team. It was the same with stubbs at points last season when he wasn't 'clicking' but stubbsy stuck with him no matter what. The new manager has other ideas. |
