I'm not questioning his devotion, just his need to show us his gut!

Or less of it!

RE: Huddersfield Town v Sheffield Wednesday - Mirf - 12-10-2016

Given that since the 2011/12 season we have met the Owls in league action 5 times in Huddersfield and we haven't scored a single goal against them, Saturday could be another real struggle for points.  Our home record reads P5 - W0 - D2 - L3 - FO - A5 - PTS 2.  So given that this is an absolutely p-ss poor home record, what hope do we have? - Well given that our home results sequence against them is L D L D L we are due for another 0-0 draw, providing we can keep tabs on that cheating little Italian, diving barstool, otherwise known as  "Forresty Hairy".

But hang on, aren't we table toppers this time round and surely we need to buck the trend someday, so I'm going for a 2-1 win for Town.  Smile

RE: Huddersfield Town v Sheffield Wednesday - St Charles Owl - 12-10-2016

I get why players like Forestieri get labelled as a diver but both the two times last season that he was booked for diving (one was a second yellow, so saw him sent off) television replays showed that he was fouled both times and the second one against Hull even Bruce said he expected his player to be red carded for hacking him down. For those of you at the game, watch his workrate and watch how many times he is fouled but doesn't get the decision, difficult to do when he is playing against you I grant.

RE: Huddersfield Town v Sheffield Wednesday - Lord Snooty - 12-10-2016

When he played for Watford, he did the most outrageous dive to win a penalty and win the game 3-2 for them, in injury time, at the JSS. We have hated him ever since.
Any arguments you may give in his defence will just fall on deaf ears as far as Town fans are concerned.

BOOOOOOOOOO!!! Angry  Laugh  Whistle  Rolleyes  Big Grin  Doh  Dodgy  Whistle  Wink

I get where you're coming from Mirf, and ususally I'd say these things have some bearing on matters. A bogey team's a bogey team. But the most important stats now are the ones that say our home record this season reads  P5 - W5 - D0 - L0 - F9 - A4 - PTS 15.

RE: Huddersfield Town v Sheffield Wednesday - WakeyTerrier - 12-10-2016

As the Lord says it's all about his time at Watford, that's why Town fans don't like him. The frustrating thing is he is a very good player and doesn't need the chucking himself about and 14 rolls on the floor when somebody sneezes on him. To be fair to him last season at Town he was hacked down by Hudson who was lucky not to get sent off.
Anyway, have you all forgiven him now for wanting to leave at the start of the season?

Results wise this game is as hard to pick as any that we've had so far. As Mirf says our recent history isn't good against them but as the Lord says our home record is 100%. Once again if we graft as hard as we have done at home this season then I'm confident we'll get at least a point out of it and if we lose then well played Wednesday because I know they will have had to play well to achieve that

RE: Huddersfield Town v Sheffield Wednesday - EastLondonTerrier - 12-10-2016

Is everyone forgetting when he tried to get a player sent off which was caught on video. The guy has a massive anger problem and dives around when he doesn't get his way from the ref. You want to solve the problem, give him a therapist or continue giving the baby his bottle like Shef Wed fans are doing.

RE: Huddersfield Town v Sheffield Wednesday - Jeebers - 12-10-2016

Bollocks jumping on a bandwagon, he's a cheating diving twat and I agree with ELT "give him therapist" Ched Evens

OK so he might have been born in Argentina, BUT to Italian parents and he relocated to Italy to join his parents & Genoa as a 16 year old, plus he also chose to represent Italy at International level.  So apart from being born in Argentina, he's as Italian as Boris Johnson (Born in New York to English parents) is English.

Having said all of that, he's still a bigger diver than Tom Daley.  Thumb up
