Three changes. Hef, THD and Palmer drop to the bench. Back come Hudson, Hogg and Lowe. VLP on the bench. Scans and Deano hold on to their places.

We scrapped it out was never a classic and edged it for a good win, been there a lot but only seen us win 3-1 back in 1996 Payton era.

A fine well worked header, Kach running for a short corner pulled 2 defenders and left acres for Shindy to get his nod on it to run over in front of the town fans.

Result never in doubt for the next 30 mins, we have a style and abiliity to see out the games which frustrates the opponents, they were booing our back to the goaly passes and Wards delays in getting his kicks out.

803 townies made constant noise, why there was 546 less than last week at Reading must be combination of cost and accessibility to East Anglia plus £32 in, but the old wooden stand n low roof helps a vocal away support, their lot barely made a sound and I can only remember Ward made only a couple of stops.

Kachunga was excellent, Hogg and Deano controlled matters first 45 but we didnt really threaten enough, Wells battled against 2 centre backs as well as you could expect, think Hoggy booked again.

I want to see a burly striker come in January if one available exists to play alongside Wells, if that allows Kachunga to play behind them offensively we could be very dangerous though that would lose width or midfield numbers to play this solid style we've adopted.

Their phone in and Radio Suffolk gave us little credit, thought we were ordinary and they were awful but had 00 wrote allover it they thought, keeps me entertained on the way back.

Not a classic by long way but it was classic HTAFC 2016. Grinding out a well deserved win on the road, I'm struggling to think of a testing save for Danny Ward where as Town really should've been 1-0 by Halftime after Kachunga smashed the post. As Sloppy says we might have had less fans there yesterday than the week before but they made one hell of a racket especially after the goal and the 17.58 train back to Peterborough became the party train with plenty of singing and drinking.
It's days like these that make the £50 train ticket and the £32.50 match ticket worth every penny.

Kachungas shot was a coat of paint away from being a goal, a more confident Nahki would have hit the rebound first time, Wells needs a goal or two to get his mojo back

I for one cannot understand how it has taken god knows how many managers to fail to see that defence is where you build a successful team from. In a very short length of time Wagner correctly identified that we had a shit defence and has replaced the duffers with effective operators who seem capable of doing rather more than just defending. It would sure be nice to have a more free-scoring attack, but that will come as time and money allow, the odd new addition or two helping in this direction.

To sum up excellent manager, solid defence, decent midfield, a little work needed in attack -mainly on making most of opportunities. Never seen a better Huddersfield team. Rightful position - keep up the good work lads.
