We have appealed Hutch's red card.

We lost the appeal.

I expected Huth to get a red at some point. However, he clearly slipped on the torrentially rained upon pitch and momentum slid him under the Brizzle players feet.

I also think their second yellow for a red was harsh too.

I thought there's a rule change this season where the last Defender back isn't a straight red anymore just a pen?

There is, I was expecting it to be either rescinded or changed to a yellow.

If that's a deliberate foul, I despair.

Agreed, that's utterly ridiculous that someone could rule that way given the recent change. Doh

The rule is that he has to make an attempt to play the ball for a yellow. Hutch didn't cos he slipped. By the letter of the law it's a red.

By all accounts the Ref claimed he sent Hutch off for deliberate hand ball! We appealed because he did not actually make any contact with the ball!

All ref's are xxxx wank anyway! Has anyone seen Atkinsons performance In Europe this week?
