RE: The Road to Wembley - themaclad - 01-10-2016

Lincoln Utd beat Handsworth P 3-1

RE: The Road to Wembley - WakeyTerrier - 12-10-2016

Now then Lincoln Utd is a name that Huddersfield Town will remember, back 1991 Lincoln United made the FA cup 1st round and got drawn away to Huddersfield. The result was a foregone conclusion and Town ran out 7-0 winners but if I remember correctly the whole ground gave the Lincoln players a standing ovation at the end of the game which by the way featured on match of the day that evening

United have got Spennymoor on Saturday will be tough

RE: The Road to Wembley - WakeyTerrier - 13-10-2016

Great history in the FA Cup have Spennymoor although as a club they folded sometime shortly after the millienium thanks to a arson attack on the social club that left them without a vital income stream. Since then they have been taken over by another club who were looking for a new ground and they took the name and colours of Spennymoor on and have gone from strength to strength.

Dazzling(but not so brightly) Fact of the day
Did you know that Frank Skinner(comedian) dad played for Spennymoor

RE: The Road to Wembley - WakeyTerrier - 17-10-2016

Spennymoor won 3-0 I think, draw for the 1st round proper on BBC2 at 7pm tonight

RE: The Road to Wembley - themaclad - 17-10-2016

Spennymoor are well funded as well part time and on at least £200 a week
