Dunfermline Athletic v Dundee United Livingston v The New Saints Queen of the South v Alloa Athletic St Mirren v Ayr United Ties are due to be played on the weekend of November 12/13, 2016. RE: Scottish Challenge Cup, 2016-2017 - Larry-AV - 16-10-2016 15/10/2016 : Livingston fielded an ineligible player against Crusaders and will have to attend a SPFL Hearing on Monday, 24/10/2016. RE: Scottish Challenge Cup, 2016-2017 - Larry-AV - 24-10-2016 24/10/2016 : At Livingston's Hearing for fielding an ineligible player in their Challenge Cup win against Crusaders, our old favourite, sportingintegrity.com reappeared. SPFL - Livingston charged by SPFL at disciplinary hearing The replay has been arranged for Tuesday, 1 November with a 7.45 kick-off. SPFL Chief Executive Neil Doncaster said: “In the interests of sporting integrity and fairness to both sides, the game will be replayed.” Allowing Livingston to replay their Challenge Cup match against Crusaders instead of being expelled from the competition sets a dangerous precedent ... and is open to this farcical situation : If Crusaders field an ineligible player in the replay and win the match, will they then be fined and ordered to replay the match too ... and if not, by what logic why not ?! RE: Scottish Challenge Cup, 2016-2017 - Larry-AV - 02-11-2016 Result 01/11/2016 : Scottish Challenge Cup Round 4 Replay : Crusaders 0-3 Livingston RE: Scottish Challenge Cup, 2016-2017 - Larry-AV - 12-11-2016 Scottish Challenge Cup Round 5 (QF) matches, I will update all the scores in this post.
