RE: Griffiths - 0762 - 02-05-2016 It's all about 'money buying success' hibeejim and I expect Peter Lawwell to pay out a fair bit of money to strengthen key positions in the Celtic team. Agree it'll be Lennon or Lambo who will succeed Deila and they won't have too much time to change things but I reckon they'll be given that 'financial muscle' to improve things. Pretty sure the Huns arnae the only team tae knock the soapdodgers oot a cup this season coop. These are the PFA awards - as voted by their fellow professionals, nothing to do with the media. Even your sectarian language can't disguise that simple fact. RE: Griffiths - 0762 - 02-05-2016 You're not gonna start this 'nonsense' again re your misinterpretation of the use of certain words and 'figures of speech' that don't suit your dialogue?!!!!!! ![]() RE: Griffiths - Trusevich - 02-05-2016 If it raises it's ugly head, I'll point it out. Deal with it. My point is: It was the PFA Awards. Voted by their peers. There is no media campaign to get Old Firm winners of these awards. There was no media campaign to not give the award to Robbie Neilson last year. Voted by their peers. RE: Griffiths - 0762 - 02-05-2016 It didn't raise it's ugly head! Therefore I have nothing to deal with. By all means make the valid point but that's it! End of! RE: Griffiths - Trusevich - 02-05-2016 It did raise it's ugly head though. I noticed Celtic fans chanting "Go home ya h*ns" at the swiftly departing Hearts fans at the weekend there. Why would Celtic fans use that term for Hearts fans? The answer is obvious to all but those who want to continue to use it. But yes, onto my point: You haven't disagreed with it, which suggests you agree with it. Is that a fair assumption? RE: Griffiths - hibeejim21 - 02-05-2016 Why would Celtic fans use that term for Hearts fans? Why would hertz fans use that term for rangers fans? Why would aberdeen, utd and falkirk fans sing it if it was sectarian ? The answers obvious except to those trying to put up a smokescreen for the benefit of the kings of bigotry. RE: Griffiths - Trusevich - 02-05-2016 If it's used by anyone in a sectarian manner (it certainly is by Celtic fans) then it is inherently sectarian. Black and white, no grey. Another who doesn't disagree with my point, though. ![]() Voted by their peers. Angst and anti-media hatred is misplaced. RE: Griffiths - hibeejim21 - 02-05-2016 You have made no point to agree or disagree with. Im not even sure you and PH are talking about the same thing. RE: Griffiths - Trusevich - 02-05-2016 Probably not, that wasn't the point I'm making. Try to keep up. I see much wailing and gnashing of teeth over the PFA awards among certain Hibs fans here - RE: "It's back tae the auld firm spunkfest fae the Scottish media Jim, naebody's else'll get a mention fae here on in." and the frankly laughable "He's getting the plaudits because he is better than mccoist. That's all it took. " The awards were voted by the members of the PFA, it's got nothing to do with the media, or how 'good' McCoist was. |
