We could have been a goal up inside the first three minutes, but ran out of steam a bit after that. We were dominant for most of the second half and on one occasion, three Hibs players failed to make contact with a driven ball in from the left. McGeouch's late introduction was probably the best thing about the performance and he looked pretty comfortable and competitive in his first game back.

As far as I can see, we need to be a bit more direct. Stokes, and to a lesser extent, Henderson should be told to cut out a lot of the fancy turns and flicks. Cummings' goal was perfection in it's build-up and execution - midfield ball out to the wing, great cross, header. That's how easy it can be. Don't make it too complicated! Gunnarsson's earlier goal again was simplicity itself.

It probably should have been more against a Queen's side more interested in fouling and time-wasting, but we are obviously saving our best for bigger games to come.

Hendo also could've contributed greatly to Hibs grabbing the second place spot in the past two matches. He had some great chances in front of goal to score the goals that would've placed Hibs in that spot and justice would've been done!! He couldn't head a baw in front of goal and is clearly a player who may score the odd goal but that's about it! In his defence, he was not the only offender in that department!!

He looked like he limped off the park yesterday. Hope he is ok for midweek.

It's probably due to tiredness more than anything else hibeejim. IMO Hendo is another young player who has been leggy for quite a while and needs to be rested at some stage during this crucial period.
