Aye. It's a valid point Fredster. He wasn't too bad in the SC Embro derby at Tynecastle compared with a huge percentage of historical bad form that covered about 10-12 years. D'ya think his enforced 'long absence' from Embro derbies might have made a difference to the way that he should've been performing in the first place?

But he's a reformed character hibeejim, esp after his reasonable performance in one Scottish Cup Embro derby after a long enforced absence
We'll wait n see if he's gonna be the main talking point in this semi-final, much like that ref 'tosser', McLean, in last season's infamous semi-final: ICT v Celtic when this ref near enough decided a Scottiish Cup winner before the final was even played! 
How many decent Scottish referees are there these days????
