RE: McManaman - Tibby Baggie - 06-04-2016 Sorry to put it bluntly but you're talking out of your arse Rainbow, simple as that. From what I've seen from McManaman so far this season leads me to believe that we've wasted £5m on him. Not only does he seem to have a cheating streak in him with this diving nonsense, but he also seemingly cannot do a full 90 minutes on the pitch for fitness reasons - and that is something that was noted by Wigan fans when he was still there as well. It's very easy to try and make out this lad is Ronaldo and it's nasty old TP keeping him down, but let's face it, other than a good 15 minute spell against Chelsea when playing for us (worth noting he wasn't the only player who was playing well mind); you'd have to go back to the FA Cup final when he was still a Wigan player and playing against Man City for his last good performance in my opinion. And as far as Sess goes, he's already had a strop before now with the incident when he took a taxi back from Newcastle when he wasn't in the first team; and in my eyes no one player is bigger than the club so he was rightly dropped. If he cannot be arsed to get himself to training on time we should be docking his wages and not bemoaning him getting dropped on here, simple as! RE: McManaman - RainbowTurnedEastStand - 06-04-2016 Anyone on here go to the open day training session at the Hawthorns? Well let me tell you is was an absolute disgrace and Pulis should be had up if that's how he sets up his training methods every week. He's allowed to express his opinion - right or wrong - you always do, which is another reason the forum is quiet from many faces that used to post on here. The issue is BBB, that while I wholeheartedly agree with your assertion that everyone is entitled to their views; that doesn't mean I have to either agree with them or ignore them either. It's invariably always the same Pulis bashing and quite frankly these posts are as boring as watching some of the performances we've put in this season. Do I agree that I'd like to see us play more entertaining football? Damn right I do. But I'm not going to criticise relentlessly a manager who despite having a very dated and well known defensive approach to football management, has kept us in this league with apparent ease when other clubs who have spent ridiculous sums of money are going to be relegated and at the worst possible time in the history of the Prem. Not saying I want Pulis in charge for next season, but results wise he's done a very respectable job and is getting disproportionate criticism from some hence why Beefy and myself and others will put forward our thoughts as well. RE: McManaman - valpayne - 08-04-2016 don't worry chaps i hear JP's taking mourinho for din dins, a bottle of mateus rose (tinted) and his mahoosive treasure chest to purchase 24 of the worlds finest players and the clown who incidentally kept stoke in the prem for years saved crystal palace bacon and ours last year and may yet guide us to a best ever points haul this is gonna be toast or would that be welsh rarebit ;-). I say again, Careful what you wish for chaps. |
