I said michael o'neill not martin. Keane did very well initially at sunderland, but perhaps he is better as a coach than a manager.

Anyways i'd be amazed if they changed it before the summer.

The Hoops also have a game in hand plus a far superior GD. He'll still be at Celtic by season end as Celtic push on in pole position and hit another unbeaten run of form.

So far Deila has failed to hit any of the targets I am sure he was set at the start of the season, with the budget they have compared to the rest of the SPFL that will constitute a failure if they do not win the league or the Cup.  Of course there is every chance they will win both but they have not looked that good or as dominant as they should be.

IMO the biggest loss to Deila was his captain, Scott Broon and I think Mulgrew's loss didn't help Deila's cause either. Broon will soon be 'up to speed' in match fitness and will make a huge difference to the Hoops' end of season form which I agree has not been impressive but they are still at the top of the Premiership with a game in hand and also have another easy home Scottish Cup tie v Morton.

Don't get me wrong, I have very little doubt they will win the league, the cup is a one off scenario so you never know.  But for the time being it is fun to see them squirm a little with the poor form they have been on recently, just hope that Aberdeen can finally actually overtake them as they seem to bottle it every time they get close!!

RE: daily retard 2 - hibeejim21 - 10-02-2016

I think you have to give Aberdeen a lot of credit to be honest they have done so well. I still think its Celtics to lose, but deila just doesn't seem that inspiring a figure. They had bad results, disasters in Europe with Lennon too but he seemed far more of a "leader" than this guy.

Teams set up with a bit of organisation can beat celtic at the moment and their manager seems powerless to change it.

Talking of Aberdeen even money v ICT.

Hope not Ronny must stay.

I wouldnae get cocky....warbs is cut from the same cloth of "philosophy" managers as Delilah.

RE: daily retard 2 - Trusevich - 16-02-2016

As bizarre a statement as it is, I'd nonetheless like to see a detailed explanation of the reasoning behind it, Jim.

RE: daily retard 2 - hibeejim21 - 16-02-2016

It's really not that bizarre a statement.

I think both managers are football idealists who show a rigid adherence to their beliefs no matter the circumstances. The magic hat pish rangers fans throw in the direction of their manager isn't very different to the type of crazy adulation Deila was getting from the tims last season.
