Lescott and Dawson were excellent, Wisdom looked happier, and Pocco looks a good signing. Had my doubts about Dawson, thought he may be the reason Jonas was looking nervous and having to cover so much affected his game, but , and I know it's early days yet, seems I may have misjudged him. With the right type of player beside him, Dawson never looked out of place or flustered, and everything that needed to end up in row ZZ did so. Jonas can now regroup, and see if he can regain his place. Needed a bit of competition to stretch him as being first name on the team sheet made him complacent, now he will have to work. This will see what type of man he is. Still, all in all, a pleasing performance, just need to follow it up. Cheers, Kookiebags. |
