RE: WBA vs Aston Villa - Match Thread - Squirrel Regis - 22-01-2016 Tibby, The Villa are shit and going down. The form book, squads and individual players show we will win this one. We have every reason to be confident and will be favourites going into a home game with the vile particularly bad away from home. That's why I'm worried ! ![]() RE: WBA vs Aston Villa - Match Thread - Salopbaggie - 22-01-2016 Looks almost certain for Brunty, Fletch and Olsson to be out for the Vile and of course Morrison. Which means not the best defence we could put out, my logic suggests the best way around this problem is to field a very attack minded team and try to outscore them, working on the principle if we have the ball and attacking they can't score. I think if we try our normal trick of just parking the bus with such a depleted defence, it will all end in tears. Best answer ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK. RE: WBA vs Aston Villa - Match Thread - DarrenFletchersEngine - 22-01-2016 Increasingly nervous about this fixture now. Vile have picked up a little recently, unfortunately, and we have some key players injured. Saying that I still fancy us to have enough in our side to beat them at home...but it is the Albion we're speaking about here, nothing is predictable. Fletch will obviously be a huge miss but the absence of Brunty, Morrison and Olsson cannot be understated either. A lot of experience in this fixture sitting in the treatment room. Just have to hope Yacob keeps his discipline and has a cracking game, Big Vic can be key as well if he's fit. Looked a handful when he's been up for it lately. Berahino...well I think he might well have a huge part to play if he is indeed over his sickness bug. RE: WBA vs Aston Villa - Match Thread - RainbowTurnedEastStand - 22-01-2016 If Pulis sticks with the 11 which played Bristol City midweek then we`ll struggle as there was absolutely no creativity, iam 100% sure Jonas Olsson will find a way into the team even if the donky is only 40% fit. DD ![]() ![]() RE: WBA vs Aston Villa - Match Thread - aries22 - 22-01-2016 Lawro obviously hasn't seen our injury list. RE: WBA vs Aston Villa - Match Thread - betterthanbaird - 22-01-2016 I wouldn't be shocked to see Anichebe in midfield again and I think that could work based off his strong midweek performance, I think this could be a start for Saido behind Rondon too, there's not really anyone else. Pocognoli may well be left back which is good as long as he isn't too rusty. The lord giveth and the lord gifts Villa 3 points in their fight against relegation Just like last Year and like we always tried to help out Wolves , infact any fooker rooted to the bottom ![]() However I will gladly fail in my prediction just to give you all a big smacker after the game ![]() RE: WBA vs Aston Villa - Match Thread - BaggieMan - 23-01-2016 If the only thing wum can offer in midfield is Sicknote, wum fooked and Vile's revival will continue. |
