RE: Town v Fulham - Lord Snooty - 16-01-2016

Can't believe our replay at Reading isn't being televised. The BBC have chosen Leicester v Spurs.....again.
Who the chuffin' hell wants to see two Premier League tossers?

Well I wasn't wrong about the draw, just the score, though after the first 15 minutes it looked like anything could have happened. We gifted McCormack a pass that Fulham never threatened to repeat for their first goal, then replied with a volley from our part time centre toward Mr. Hudson. After that, in my honest opinion, neither keeper really had owt to do. Two teams trying to play the same system and both failed myserably. Still, we are above the dirty L666s and that will do for now. :up;

Twas a scrappy affair with our 'key' players being off the boil. Didnt play our best at all, but to have an off day and still come out unbeaten especially against a side thats been doing well on the attacking side is good for us

RE: Town v Fulham - theo_luddite - 16-01-2016

Oops, wrong, Lonergan made a couple of really good saves in quick succession to keep Town out in the second half. For the most part we cancelled each other out and they deserved their grrr first grrr point grrr for their new grrrr coach/manager.

RE: Town v Fulham - Lord Snooty - 16-01-2016

After 5 minutes we had 94% possession but were 1-0 down. After that we abandoned the playing out from the back tactic. Could this have been because our ball playing centre back was resting on the sub's bench?
I like this squad rotation policy but would still like to see Lynch play when he's available.

Rather a disappointing match compared to what we've been used to lately but still six matches unbeaten now and above the champions of Europe in the league table. Not bad.

Wagner post-match

Jed Steer post-match

Couldn't understand why their second goal was chalked off. Watching that, McCormack is clearly offside when the original cross came in. Bit lucky really, wasn't really active in the move. Well done, liner. Big Grin

RE: Town v Fulham - theo_luddite - 17-01-2016

Can't say the whinging little toerag wasn't active when the ball just about rolled over his foot. I sit that side at that end and the liner had his flag up as soon as the cross was kicked. The fact he knew he was off and decided to leave the ball alone didn't change the decision, but another day another liner might have not been as quick with the flag.

See the liner that didn't give John Terry offside against Everton if you don't believe me.  Doh

Just been reading a bit of The Football League Paper. Chris Dunlavy was at the Charlton match on Tuesday. On page 7 he rips Duchatelet and Katrien Meire a pair of new arseholes, on page 8 he does a good piece on Jamie Paterson. Thumb up

Oh, and Mark Hudson made their team of the day.

As a right fullback ????? Laugh
