Thank Gawd Wood's gone. Rotherham only want him now they are desperate, Fleetwood couldn't stop shipping goals with him in the team, Crawley got relegated, we were on the losing streak of all time. Says it all. One good game doesn't make him a player and it's a space for Danny to get us a decent loan.
Why don't teams get their players the flu jab by the way? But then how do you tell if someone's ill, or just in Rotherham?
Suggestion One - bring back Gnanduillet and play him centre back. Suggestion Two whilst you're laughing that one off - play three at the back, shore up in front of it with players like Onovwigun who are likely to tackle. Suggestion Three - play Maguire at centre back with Hird to add a bit of pace. Suggestion 4 - play Chapman in goal, he's a big bloke, and he should be more capable than Tommy of coming out to negate any attempt to play on our lack of height at the back. Suggestion 5 - play Humphreys as an old-fashioned sweeper, he's a good enough reader of the game and sweepers don't have to be fast, the extra space gives them time.
Suggestion 6 - play Lee Novak at centre back. Suggestion 7 - play Olly Banks at full back to wake him up to the idea of being part of a team and always playing your part.
Remember Mascherano isn't big, isn't a great header of the ball, but functions there at the very highest level.
If we could get £500,000 for Morsy I'd sell him first day of the transfer window. We won't get that because our stupid chairman just told everyone we have to sell to buy, so they'll all be after a deal. £200,000? No? Fine keep him then and get relegated! I suppose he'll then accuse Danny of lack of business acumen......... We're doomed I tell you, doomed.

Great news that we've signed Chris Morgan as First team coach. He should be a great asset to the coaching staff and Alan Biggs said that he applied for the managerial job.

They worked together at Sheffyoo .I guess he's experienced enough to be a positive signing and the fact that he's left his beloved 'blerds' to come here is a good thing .Apparently applied for the managers job here as well.

I thought it was interesting that on a Blunts fan forum they recently commented that all through their decline since the Tevez incident the only 2 constants at the club were McCabe and Morgan!!!! Read into that what you want!!!
Seriously though, he is the type of coach that will toughen up the defence and should make you a better team at least at that end of the field. There is no doubting his passion for the game, I think he is a similar character to Lee Bullen who is in the same position with us. Of course you can expect some stick from Barnsley fans, they will never forgive him over that "challenge" he made on Hume that fractured his skull!!!

Even at 38 he could come out of retirement and help us if we're going through an injury crisis.
We need someone to toughen up the defence as its a bit leaky at the moment.
