Brum is busy but not as bad as last years market expedition. Better layout of stalls on New Street helps. Quite windy today, I blame the beans. Smile

Same starting line up as last weekend. I reckon the performance earned them all another crack at it this week

We played as well as I had hoped, not entirely bossing the first half but Deano was playing deep and swept up any loose ends, missed Trolley Dolly's opener but seen the clips since. Worry to see Deano limp off try stay on then crumple seconds later.

Pato was excellent, Huws more impressive this week, Chilwell what a player he will be in future ( sadly elsewhere) , Huddy wasnt on his game and he must be under threat when Bet comes back from his annual 3 weeks in Dubai mid season break.

Second half Birmingham had more ball, Steer made a couple of excellent stops, we just seemed unable to have the same level of intensity, then we went and scored at 78 mins, the ground emptied and despite 6 mins of ET we saw out the time to earn 3 valuable points.

Scanz run and drive turning his defenders inside out set up Wells for a tap in, he deserved the goal for huge amount of energy over the past few games, even Miller had been re-hoofed and got a trundle out.

The support was excellent, unsure on no's maybe 700 but constant vocal backing their lot were silent all game and I always have that warm feeling going there and doing well when they were singing 'We'll never play you again" when they sent us down that horrible day.

Excellent 8/10 roll on next week.

813 the examiner report says, sounded more but its quality not quantity on days like this.
Also to mention a great showing from the London lot had been up in the city at the Wellington boozer think it was suggested on DATM for exiles to have a gathering beforehand.
Got my Brentford & QPRse tickets this week, I'm a DW beleiver !!

Get in there I was confident we could get 3 points today, especially given Birmingham's less than great recent form and we did. Wagner's new style and work ethic that is being imposed on the team makes a pleasing change from the previous merry go round of samey managers we seemed to employ. 6 out of 6 now required from the 2 home games. Wagner is a breath of fresh air if you ask me, Powell was casting a malaise over the club and the fans with his dullness, it was permeating every strand of the club.

the bar has been set , the key now is consistency as it has always been

i'll tell you what though, i havent felt this positive about a town team in a fair few years and i'm looking forward to going to the preston game on boxing day

( might even see a few of you there )

Well I like it, I like it, I like it, I like it,
I Joe Lolley like it, Joe Lolley like it,
Here we go, oh, Rockin' up the Football League.

Another good performance by the lads in testing conditions. Once Brum's fans started to turn on their side after around 20-25 mins it became less and less likely they would get back into it.

A  welcome 3 points down here in Middle England and a long awaited Lolley goal means £4 in the PFP kitty too. Thumb up
