RE: Match thread - Bolton at home - Jeebers - 19-09-2015 I'm gonna stop talking about being buggered now, I'm sounding like a public schoolboy............. but bugger me, always had faith in Cozy RE: Match thread - Bolton at home - theo_luddite - 19-09-2015 Aye Mirf, he's been busy keeping Mitzi quiet too. Any road, back to t'football. A splendifferous second half to follow up Tuesday's magnifiglorious first half sees Town soar up the league to mid-table obscurity and 13th. Woo hoo, nose bleed time and only 3 pts off 6th. Time to cue the numpties dreaming of promotion who last week swore blind never to darken the doors of the Mcgalphsmith stadium again as recently as this week to post all over tinterweb how much they believe in the miracles that Powell and Deano are weaving across our mighty club. Yes I'm on my third shandy, so what? RE: Match thread - Bolton at home - Lord Snooty - 19-09-2015 Now that's more like it. Another crap start, but unlike the Brighton game, we turned it into a big win. We are, without doubt, the best team in this division and by the end of the season we will be promoted, if we can get some consistency together. RE: Match thread - Bolton at home - ritchiebaby - 19-09-2015 Brilliant result today. See, we can do it! After me, "we can do it, we can do it, we can do it!!" ![]() RE: Match thread - Bolton at home - Lord Snooty - 19-09-2015 Yes we can! Lager shandy please. ![]() RE: Match thread - Bolton at home - Jeebers - 20-09-2015 Spent the night in Aberdeen Theo but if I'd known you were getting a round in I would've driven down for a Stella RE: Match thread - Bolton at home - jjamez - 20-09-2015 Forest thread will be up later on today or tomorrow some time RE: Match thread - Bolton at home - WakeyTerrier - 20-09-2015 I'm here Mirf, don't get time to post much on a weekend as a rule. Well,well...what a result and what a second half. First half not rubbish but the usual average performance and a gift of a goal to put Bolton in front, they bossed us for a good 25/30mins and it looked like we were in for a long day. Shortly before half time we got a bit of luck, a corner that I thought wasn't(the ball had been run out by a Town player) anyway a change from our usual corner routine and its 1-1. Lucky in my opinion to be level at half time but I'll take it as only Harry Bunn impressed me in the first half Second half totally different, more hard work and endeavour all round, Bolton didn't know what had hit them. Some great tackles(especially Craine) some great interceptions (Davidson) plenty of running (Huws,Bunn) and a decent amount of hold up play by Miller. 4-1 flattered Bolton 8-2 would've been about right |
