Although it might do the typical re enthuse the players as so often happens. I can see powell being around till the end of september... Careful there JJamez, I would like to think Kick It out and other groups would be better than to jump to judgement like that so hastily. I expect that more from the predominantly white media who do it to us every time we get rid of a manager rather than someone like Lord Ouseley. RE: Match thread - Charlton away - jjamez - 15-09-2015 There has been a few times where i have seen someone from the black lawyers society talk and have thought afterwards that he has come with a very narrow mind on things. I believe he spoke out about paul ince or sol campbell not getting a job or losing one? RE: Match thread - Charlton away - WakeyTerrier - 15-09-2015 That's because they were both s*#t RE: Match thread - Charlton away - jjamez - 15-09-2015 He couldnt accept that though! RE: Match thread - Charlton away - Amelia Chaffinch - 15-09-2015 It's Peter Herbert you're talking about and he doesn't give a balanced view. I don't think the Works or anything else has anything to do with Deano not giving Powell money to spend. I think all the managers since Lee Clark have suffered because he gave LC too much free reign to spend. I don't think he wants to fall into the same trap again. Plus the whole FFP compliance is not helping. RE: Match thread - Charlton away - Lord Snooty - 15-09-2015 Harry Bunn. Get in son. Emlyn Hughes 2-0. RE: Match thread - Charlton away - theo_luddite - 15-09-2015 I'm back from watching The Blow Jays score runs for fun, have I missed owt (again?). Same manager? - check Same chairman? - check Same forward still earning a fortune sat in the stands? - check Still can't score? - che .... Ooooooh, hang on. Still can't get a blank sheet? - check. OK! Not missed much then. Once on the pitch and Pearson has now walked away for 'personal' reasons. Couldn't make it up could ya? |
