RE: SPFL2, Sunday 16/08/2015 : Alloa Athletic v Rangers, KO 12:30 hours. - St Charles Owl - 12-08-2015 Am I right in thinking you have struggled in the past on the artificial pitches that you see at some grounds?? The thing with Warburton is his ability to be prepared and prepare the team properly. Forget what happens on the training pitch, its his apparent ability to get the tactics and lineup right for the opposition he is facing and then the ability to change it and move to plan B if its not working that truly sets him apart from Ally. Brentford had a reputation for playing attacking football but also being able to adapt to differing situations, I would assume that Warburton has brought that same philosophy to Ibrox. RE: SPFL2, Sunday 16/08/2015 : Alloa Athletic v Rangers, KO 12:30 hours. - El Car - 12-08-2015 I'm not sure if we've struggled particularly on artificial surfaces so much as on poor surfaces. We were unbeaten in the league 2 seasons ago and played on several artificial pitches that year, but it does take a bit of adapting to and affects our team selection. I don't expect Templeton to feature at Alloa because of this. RE: SPFL2, Sunday 16/08/2015 : Alloa Athletic v Rangers, KO 12:30 hours. - Fredstersafool - 12-08-2015 I don't get this pish about artificial surfaces and this is not about gers this is all teams, they train on these surfaces regularly and while some are better than others players adapt,it wasn't the surfaces that cost gers last year it was the players who didn't perform throughout the season, very comfortable win for gers this weekend especially now they have a squad and a manager who look like they know what they are doing RE: SPFL2, Sunday 16/08/2015 : Alloa Athletic v Rangers, KO 12:30 hours. - Trusevich - 12-08-2015 (13-07-2015, 16:38)Fredstersafool Wrote: Face it yer players are shite (12-08-2015, 09:09)Fredstersafool Wrote: very comfortable win for gers this weekend especially now they have a squad and a manager who look like they know what they are doing F*ck me, four weeks and the whole world is upside down. The problem is the teams with these pitches play actual competitive games on their pitch every second game, which must give them an advantage over the teams that only play competitively on them a few times per season. If the SPFA are going to allow these pitches, and I can see the benefit for the smaller clubs in doing so, maybe they need to set standards for these pitches with regards to manufacturer, replacement schedules etc. RE: SPFL2, Sunday 16/08/2015 : Alloa Athletic v Rangers, KO 12:30 hours. - Larry-AV - 12-08-2015 Fair play to Alloa Athletic who have today {12/08/2015} agreed to Rangers' request to train on their pitch.
