Considering that he is being released by the Shammers as not considered good enough; should we be really be looking at a 33 year old striker who can't cut the mustard with another Premiership team??? Doh

He is a left winger not a striker and was a good one at that during his time at PSG.

I didn't watch any of his time at West Ham so I don't know how he did but he could be an experienced option out wide to compliment the youth of McManaman and another winger that we will sign.

I think we were linked with him in January before he joined West Ham.

Welcome back, Josh. He was a fabulous player in his PSG days but is well past it now, after 2 seasons in the Middle East to wind down his career and failing to make an impact at West Ham should tell us all we need to know, 34 in July too! Would be a desperately poor signing considering the average age of our squad.

Nene & Brunt as our left wing options for next season is giving me a cold sweat Sad

Perhaps TP will sign him and play him at left back! Whistle

RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - wba_1996 - 03-06-2015

Gignac: http://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2015/andre-pierre-gignac-between-russia-and-england/

This is the one we need to pursue, on a free and would instantly be our best player. Will probably go to a bigger club but we can pretty much match the likes of Galatasaray, Lazio and Dynamo Moscow who are also interested for wages nowadays and he is keen on the PL.

RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - wba_1996 - 04-06-2015

Looks like Cabaye could be off to Palace, Leicester signed a very capable LB in Cristian Fuchs yesterday as well. With the money floating around in the PL now and our potential new owners having a much larger personal fortune than JP I really hope we will be adding quality to the squad this summer. Signing the likes of Carlton Cole will just not be good enough this time round.

On the other hand, if we do manage to get Gignac and we keep Berahino then we would have the best strikeforce outside of the top 6 Cool

Should complement each other very well really hope it happens or sign another player of his ilk

Looks fantastic, but why would his Agent not wait until the end of the Transfer Window.....and a Salary Auction?
Same with all players.
We'll be getting the scraps as usual, like Ideye.
I'll still read this Thread with interest, but wait to see who we're lumbered with at the end of August.
