That's the stuff. Motherwell have a poor goals against record and we need to exploit their weaknesses.

McCall should know what they are.

Gers to score 3 - ideally with no reply.

Tie over?? 0-3 just into 2nd half should have killed off this tie in favor of Motherwell!!

If I ever, ever predict a scoreline again I want my account cancelled.

Play with the finishing 11 from the start on Sunday.

Well that's set us up nicely to finish the job at Fir Park.

Well, it shows how much I know about football, but I remember a certain Premiership team having a 2 goal lead from the away leg and thinking they were through. Rolleyes

Well, it's been coming for a while now, not surprised it happened against a team with genuine pace on the wings.

First goal was a fluke, sure, but the boy took a chance to play a dangerous ball and it came off. That's yet another thing we've failed to do for a few years - take a chance in the attacking third. Everything is safe, precise and almost pre-planned, everything we do in the build up is expected and therefore easily defended. When was the last time any of our players took an unexpected shot at goal?

I also think it's now become glaringly obvious that Nicky Clark just isn't good enough, especially against better quality defences.

Anyway, the late goal gives us a tiny chance on Sunday if we get the first goal.

SPFL1 Play-Offs F1, 28/05/2015 : Rangers 1-3 Motherwell

Advantage Motherwell, which I think they will retain. There was pressure enough and several scoring opportunities from Rangers tonight, but much of our passing was not effective. Many balls were played too long, too short, or to the opposition. The most costly of the latter led to Motherwell's superbly executed third goal.
Anyway, it is 'half-time', as folks say, but it is all to do, from a long way back now, on Sunday at Fir Park.
