RE: Pride of the Midlands - AGAIN - Squirrel Regis - 16-05-2015 Over the moon to finish above 'massive club' villa. Just read an article from a villa fan group saying the £200,000 fine for the pitch invasions was out of order as it was all good natured and they demand to know what fine Albion will get stating our fans were the culprits !!!! I cannot put into words how much I hate that club and their fans. Not sure about 'pride' after this season but it sure feels good to finish above them. RE: Pride of the Midlands - AGAIN - betterthanbaird - 16-05-2015 TBF what was our punishment for the chair throwing? I'd been wondering. But the midlands is far bigger than just Birmingham and the surrounding villages!!! How dare you call West Brom a village. ...... We are a Hamlet and proud of it. So taking away the North East, North West, South West and South East leaves you with The Midlands. A much bigger place than a few towns around Birmingham area. ...and Skad... the tune your looking for is possibly "Your Just in Love (I Wonder Why)" by Irving Berlin although you do have to force it a bit :-) RE: Pride of the Midlands - AGAIN - Squirrel Regis - 16-05-2015 Betterthanbaird, Not seen anything reported yet about anything to do with the chair throwing. By all accounts what went on at the Witton arms was far more serious and organised and to be honest I'm glad I couldn't get a ticket as it sounds like a horrible game to go to. Was bad enough watching on the tele ! RE: Pride of the Midlands - AGAIN - valpayne - 17-05-2015 Oooh I can't help throwing another spanner in the works just for fun so please nobody get to excited or upset Its all a bit of fun so here we go... Does anyone realise Leicester could finish above us.... now where would we stand then ![]() Just good to finish above Villa so I can tease my brother his girlfriend and my dad ![]() RE: Pride of the Midlands - AGAIN - Lets-talk-about-Teix - 17-05-2015 Heard a good few renditions of "F*** the Albion" in their recent away games too But they don't care about us you know |
