RE: the terriers versus the tractor boys - theo_luddite - 06-04-2015 Finally had a chance to read your rant jjamez. Fair do's but got to be happy with being 4 points closer to them up t'road and 12 points above Miwaw. Can't see them getting close to 12 points with the games they have left and Wigan are after a new boss after parting company with Malky Mackay and his inability to win a home game. As for playing in League 1 again, fook me didn't anyone take note of the dire stuff that Bratfud served up v Reading and they are in with a sniff of the playoffs. When we've been at our worst, mainly against sides that don't want to play, it's still better than the crap called football in that league. RE: the terriers versus the tractor boys - jjamez - 06-04-2015 Just to clarify i don't want us in league one again ahah. But i still stand by the point that we dont play championship standard football even after today. Today and a few other times we have come closer to doing so but its not consistent enough. Although its not like we are a million miles away, we've shown that and maybe next season or the season after we will be ready and have the players in order to play the calibre of football. Just looked on datm and someone seems to think that chris is leaving... RE: the terriers versus the tractor boys - ritchiebaby - 06-04-2015 Could be he's away to the supermarket to buy some cut-price Easter eggs. ![]() Just came on to say "Well done, Town". Win the games we should be losing and lose the games we should be winning - my kind of team. RE: the terriers versus the tractor boys - Amelia Chaffinch - 07-04-2015 What? No one got anything to say because they can't complain? ![]() RE: the terriers versus the tractor boys - Lord Snooty - 07-04-2015 Yes. He left the subs too late. ![]() RE: the terriers versus the tractor boys - EastLondonTerrier - 07-04-2015 Great win. We love turning up against the big boys don't we! Always knew we'd concede one but I was always expecting jeff stelling to say 'and there's been another goal for Mick McCarthy's side at the john smiths stadium' so bloody ecstatic we got the win. Never rated Micks lot but he's got them working as a team. Huge result. RE: the terriers versus the tractor boys - jjamez - 07-04-2015 Well am its something we arent used to. Maybe people are still in shock? RE: the terriers versus the tractor boys - WakeyTerrier - 07-04-2015 Bloody typical Town, I hear on the radio that Chris Woods is starting and decide that he usually scores against us so it's time for a crafty quid for him to score first at 13/2...money down the drain Great performance from Town, first 10mins looked like it was going to be a long afternoon but after that we settled down and took the game to the Tractor Boys. Two great goals and two great assists especially Butterfields cross. Happy days and Championship football should now be secure for another 12months RE: the terriers versus the tractor boys - EastLondonTerrier - 07-04-2015 Can we start to get behind the team a bit more on here? I moan as much as anyone when we put in a dross performance but the activity alarmingly drops off on here whenever we win and spikes up disturbingly when we lose. RE: the terriers versus the tractor boys - theo_luddite - 08-04-2015 Tsk, tsk ELT. Thought you'd have known by now, being an educated chap like you are, that interweb forums, after match text and phone-in's to Local Radio Stations and even the BEEB's own 606 are the domain of the moaning gits of this world. They've nothing else to live for, so don't deprive them of their one and only joy in life. Apart from maybe a moan while glugging down the occasional glass of falling over fluid and given there's not so many pubs where they can go for a good moan these days, they drink at home too. Ask them to get behind the team? Oooooh, no, no, no, no, no! They would rather cut their keyboarding fingers and thumbs off first ..... oh, hang on a minute! |
