RE: Queen of the South v Rangers, Thursday, 09/04/2015, KO 19:45 hours. - TheWorthinGer - 09-04-2015 We were stifled from the start - it was obvious that they were pushing up on Vuckic and doubling up to stop him coming inside for a shot. 15 corners and no goals says it all. An equal number of aimless crosses into the box as well no doubt. Oh well. Roll on Sunday. RE: Queen of the South v Rangers, Thursday, 09/04/2015, KO 19:45 hours. - Larry-AV - 09-04-2015 SPFL2 (Championship) 09/04/2015 : Queen of the South 3-0 Rangers A disappointing performance from Rangers, but there should be no complaints about the result, the better team won, deservedly so. RE: Queen of the South v Rangers, Thursday, 09/04/2015, KO 19:45 hours. - Trusevich - 09-04-2015 They closed us down really well, never gave any of our players any time on the ball at all, and we struggled badly with that. Defence far too deep again - perhaps because of the pace QotS showed - which exacerbated the lack of continuity back to front, as well as giving them all the time in the world when breaking. Robinson and Zaliukas/Mohsni reverting to the long ball tactic which can't work on a zippy well-watered surface. But then they had little option when no one is breaking free from their marker and pro ding an option. Robinson, I'm afraid, gave me absolutely no confidence, every shot they had seemed destined for the net and his distribution !eaves a lot to be desired. All in all, an unwelcome regression to the kind of displays which have dogged us this season particularly. RE: Queen of the South 3-0 Rangers, 09/04/2015. - Fredstersafool - 09-04-2015 Good to see gers back RE: Queen of the South 3-0 Rangers, 09/04/2015. - Alan63 - 12-04-2015 I had thought that up until he was in my opinion unfairly dropped for the fit again Bell, that they young guy Robinson had did really well. He looked so SHORT on confidence against queens it was sad to see imo. Roll on Sunday's game against Raith, we'll pump em at Ibrox. RE: Queen of the South 3-0 Rangers, 09/04/2015. - Fredstersafool - 12-04-2015 Maybe RE: Queen of the South 3-0 Rangers, 09/04/2015. - El Car - 12-04-2015 Obviously disappointing that we shipped 3 goals to QotS, but the fact we couldn't score was more unnerving. It's no good feeling like we've lost a game as soon as the opposition go in front. |
